It's been a few years since I started listening to Derek Prince over KZbin. It is so amazing to know how much his videos have impacted my life with the simple yet profound word of God which is pure truth. @Kevin Belgrove Whatever you are saying I would take it very seriously. Jesus said, "If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." Jesus and yeshua mean the same thing etc, it's the same name just translated in different languages. And why would God who is love, reject those who TRULY love him? Jesus said "Unless you be like a child you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven". A child lets their father guide them into all truth and doesnt lean on their own understanding. The pharisees created more rules than necessary to appear like god favoured them more, they cared so much about the rules but had no heart. God looks at the heart and chooses the humble and changes them to fulfill the rules, not the entitled who think themselves esteemed enough that they have more authority than god to turn away gods own children and the people who truly love him. Do you think God low enough to reject the only ones who truly love him just because they say the Hebrew version of his name or just say his name wrong. I think it's because you want to feel important, that in this way only you are REALLY worthy of god's love because of the way you misinterpret scripture because of your religious heart. Will he say to you "depart from me you who practice lawlessness?" Do you know God and not simply profess him to be lord and teaching in his name like the pharisees? "Faith without works is dead". The evidence of your faith is that you will be born again. So has he reformed you as he has with me? And I didn't need to call him by his Hebrew name to be saved because he chose me when I wasnt adequate enough and I couldn't fulfill the law and the commandments of the scripture, and I love not the name but one behind the name. I don't love letters or symbols that are arranged in a particular order that happen to form a "name". No I love the one that represents it and that's why I would love and confess that name and that's what always mattered. Who did you really call out to? The real christ and does he hear you? Or because of pride or a willingness to exalt yourself, you made an god/idol of your own making, adding more rules by deciding to interpret the bible to fit this attitude? "God cannot dwell in a temple made of human hands". By a new nature, leading to works lead by the spirit, a changed heart which ultimately stems from real faith will you really know you are saved, not by the profession of a name, that's not the root of the saving power but rather an an expression of it. "God is spirit". Do you bear the fruits of his spirit? How do u have real faith? By humbling yourself, dying to self (not leaning onto worldliness/your own understanding) but instead being like a child and treating god like your REAL father, and obeying him. "Seek his kingdom first and his righteousness and all things will be added unto you".

I used to be so proud to claim that I was a Roman Catholic prior to salvation but only realised how lost I was when I was born again. Jesus said in John 3 that unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of heaven. Nicodemus was a religious leader who came to Jesus by night because he knew that there was something special that Jesus had and wanted it. As a RC I knew that something major was missing in my life and never heard the gospel in the Catholic Church till I was born again on a holiday abroad. I have never looked back since then and so grateful for the cross of Christ.
