Yeah, I probably read The Poppy War at the absolute worst time! 😅 I’m excited to continue the series though! Hopefully I can get to it soon!

This reminded me I really need to finish my reread His Dark Materials! I just have The Amber Spyglass left. I love the series, though I admit it may be part nostalgia. I haven't yet watched the tv series, I plan to after my reread, so I don't know if they are accurate or not. I absolutely love the full cast audiobooks, highly recommend them! I'd been doing a buddy read of them but the person I was reading them with decided the series just wasn't for them & dnf'd it. I missed having someone to discuss them with & put them aside. Then I ended up distracted by life & other books & never ended up picking it up again. Let me know if you think buddy reading them would help you get through them & we can work that out. I'm totally willing to reread the 2nd book before moving on again if you are interested in a buddy read.

I’d love to buddy read the last two books in the His Dark Materials series! It might have to be in May and June though, if we read one a month, because my April tbr is quite big! If you’re still interested, let me know what platform you’d like to do it on. Maybe Discord or Instagram? I’ll definitely have to look into the audiobooks!

@@anovelcuriosity Great! Whenever works best for you is fine by me. Being rereads for me I can more easily slip them in whenever. As for where, I don't have Instagram (I'm not big on social media) but I actually use Discord quite a bit so that would work out. Let me know when you're ready.
