This song is part of our family now. We hear my 5 year old at random times singing the Puddles version of this song, reveling in the "work sucks" part, singing his 5 year old heart out. He slumps over for most of the song, then somehow emerges from his malaise at the right time, voice booming in kindergarten frustration. He gets it. This song is so well done that after the closing of the final few seconds where the music cuts out into silence (I love that *sigh* by Puddles, it seals the hopelessness theme for me) I feel I need to call the suicide hotline for the first and last time. Great job, I love the brooding/melancholy vibe over the happier-go-lucky original by Blink-182. This music makes me feel in a feel-less world. Thank you for this version.

As always, phenomenal music by PMJ and Puddles Pity Party - great work by the backup and instrumentals. They complemented Puddles Pity Party's incredible range very nicely. Also, I like how everyone leaves at the end while Puddles Pity Party stays. Not only is it interesting cinematography, but I can't help but wonder if it's also an intentional inversion of his first appearance, wherein at the end of the song he abruptly left while everyone else stayed behind.
