This update has broken sieges. You can take settlements instantly if there's no army next to it. Population has also skyrocketed into hundreds of thousands for free lands which makes it super easy to snowball after the first merc company.

Hey, just found your channel. I'm very new to Songs of Syx (~50 hours lol), and really love part 1. Currently watching part 2 of v67. Do you have any tutorial videos? My most succesful city so far was an attempt at an Amevia only city, but after awhile I forgot my Xenophobia and started allowing the lesser races in. Things quickly devolved, and everything fell apart. Is it easier to go further as a complete mono-culture? I'm currently trying out Cretonians, but am really struggling to keep them happy. Anyways, really glad I found your channel, and look forward to watching the Dondorians flourish!

My first time seeing this game. It looks nice but I think has a high learning curve. I looked at a lot of let’s plays of Dwarven Fortress so this is right at my alley. Interested in how this will continue.

You're right about the steep learning curve! That said, the tool tips are incredibly helpful, but you've gotta know how to find what you're looking for before you can find it! Lol

You can not go wrong with Syx Dwarves, but if you can chose Wizards! then it is a easy pick ^^ I always chose spellcasters!

Why you delay warehouse my dude?

On the second day of summer, the foolish Dondorians realized that all the rations had run out and they needed food. They abandoned all efforts at building a warehouse to take care of their most base needs - food and shelter. The colonists would first forage for mushrooms in the surrounding forest and build a dock to fish the nearby streams.

I’m thinking of purchasing the game. Can you build more than one city in the game? Or settle more than one?

@@BeEasyKlockwork Unfortunately, you can’t settle/build another like your capital; however, you can conquer and “build” structures in those cities much like civ or total war. You can then use those cities to trade and tax as an emperor. Highly recommend this game, but it does have a bit of a skill curve. There are many guides you can watch though - including my play through ;)

@@BeEasyKlockwork it’s been heavily reworked in the last few seasons so I wouldn’t necessarily rely on prior builds of the game. Diplomacy, empire building, and trade have been reworked

i went back to the game and died fairly early, i didn't realise you didn't start off with fruit and so my farm was useless and I didn't build a pasture/fishery in time.

good vid but you could have just suspended those jobs
