started playing a couple of weeks ago, thought i was on v66 already, then the patch hits. it feels a bit harder and honestly im glad i learned on v65. I do like how it feels like you need to use your own army instead of mercenaries too.

Hi, here are few suggestions of things that might help with the Government satisfaction (the balance symbol) and some UI informations : - make 2-3 stocks. When people are sentence to Imprisonment, they pass some time in stock. Dondarians have a little need for it. so 2-3 sould be plenty for now. - You can see the specifics needs of your people and if they are satisfied : they are the ones with a red/green bar next to it in each pages. That means that it is not the hole list you need to satisfy. When you are in the Government UI (34:47), you can see that your people have Punishment requirements only on pardon, executed (satisfied for now), judged (won't come up until later in tech tree) and stocked. So your people don't care about imprisonment in it self, but when criminal are stocked. It also mean that your people don't care if sentence to the pit as law. A requirement is fully fulfilled when the bar is fully green and the bonus is then cap for this category (their is no point in accumulating more for approval). At that point, The approval bonus you receive from "day of food" (25) is max. Of course, it is not bad to go beyond (accumulating for future growth or waiting for people to come back), but it won't affect the approval further. - In the "law manager", you can make it that the Dondarians are executed 50% of the time, imprisonment 20% of the time and release 30% of the time (remove the others). Those % are just my personal preference (I'm a casual player). Also, Dondarians hate exiled or slaved dondarians, so you wanna make sure it never happens, and the fighting pit still entertain without convicts. - In the Government part, RICHES are really important and easier for you to control than the executions/pardon gimmick (should be tuned down a bit in the balancing I think). This is actually your treasury (196 right now at 34:47) . Your people hate when you don't have a lot of cash, and accumulating it makes them really happy, just like executing people (you got to love those crazy Dondarians lol). I suggest to go to at least 1000$, and keep accumulating until the red bar next to Riches is fully green. For the likes/dislikes tourists part, I haven't really have any tourist in my games yet, so haven't been an issue yet. Also, I still think that the fighting pit help with entertainment/services, but I'm not sure. I always build it anyway. I hope this helps you and thanks for the playthrough! Hey Pebble, that seems to be an interesting game. The population fluctuation is pretty frustrating though. I noticed a red 'judged' bar under the law tab. Is there maybe a court house building where the criminals get judged, rather than you as player deciding the prisoners fate?
