KZbin needs smart comment filtering for the video poster. I would love to just regex filter out comments bitching about the price. They aren’t useful and they just clog up the comment section.

Would be nice, but in TE’s synth history they’ve only ever released a limited number of engines. And most of what’s in the OP XY are rebadged OP1 engines. Tonally, they always sound similar

I saw a vid where it’s shows that you are able to change the chord progressions after recording and put in some random punch in fx to make the beat interesting. This small OP is deeper then I can imagen and all in Stereo. And you have 8 tracks to mix with too. Wow 🤩 Nice demonstration ❤

you connect the device via midi, and e.g. in ableton you capture each track, you can capture all at once.

I don't think the OP-XY has analog circuitry, so it's probably all digital (like a vst/serum). It does have really nice converters though, so I'm sure you can sample analog sounds into it and it will still sound very analog.

Hello, really enjoying the content with the OP-XY! Some of the best I've found on KZbin so far :) I'm not a huge fan of HDR content on KZbin tbh. I think SDR is a bit more comfortable to watch, especially if it's just some hands on a desk. HDR is good for high contrast situations, which this is not. Another thing I've noticed is that your auto-white balance is turned on, which I would definitely turn off. Keep up the good work! Love your music :D

I don't think the synth engines sound all that great, not to be a hater. I definitely like some of them, but idk. Many sound very thin. Multisamples are a different story. That's what I would use this synth for more than anything. Can you use the same synth engine across multiple tracks?

Its milled from a solid block of aluminum, really nice feeling keys and dual dsp etc. I think the broken OP-1s is largely to the mobile or very frequent use. I still would prefer a 1200 eur price tag :D

It’s several different synthesizers, an Mpc, a multi sampler, a cirklon esque sequencer in a portable package, made with quality material and perfect erganomics. There is nothing on the market as good without sacrificing size
