I bought an Everyplate meal subscription box for around $50. I am going to break it down to $5 per dinner, using those items and the ones in my pantry. But! We have to make it harder and do it like Chopped!

When you go to Vegas go to the Peppermill Lounge and Restaurant. Great food. The Rat Pack used to go there.

My Cinderella bowls that I have were my parents wedding gift they received from my aunt in 1949. I have had them for forty years and they are up high now.

It gets 110 here in the summer. We have a window air conditioner in the living room and in the master bedroom. It gets 62 in the bedroom at night. Cuts our electric bill in half.

I love my everyday coated paper plates. Not sure how many years back( I know it was before covid ) but Kroger had 350 or 400 count coated paper plates for $1.99 a package in the clearance bought 12 packages still using them. If I need something stronger I put them in my wicker picnic plates. I don't cook a lot but I did make enchiladas tonight

Your Vegas trip sounds like it will be so much fun! And one of my favorite Vegas activities is free, PEOPLE WATCHING! Vegas is one of the best places in America to people watch. Between the amazing street artists and the drunk bachelorette parties, there’s plenty to see! 😂 I can’t wait to hear all about your trip!

Our last Monday for “mix up Monday” my kids picked ground beef, soy sauce, eggs, milk, and tomato sauce! I made a meat ball spaghetti bake! It turned out super yummy! I can’t wait to see what we have it use tomorrow!

With the ac it could be poor insulation low Freon or you need new windows. With an older home I’d check door seals and windows.

Have your electric company come out and do an energy efficiency check. It is free. My parents found out their cool air and heat were pouring outside through the sides of the windows. P.S. I am married to Joe, third marriage, 23 years so far, took three tries but I got it right this time.
