I'm glad to see the stigma of "needing help" being lifted. 45 years ago when I was raising my babies, food banks and asking for help was unthinkable. I guess it taught me frugal living and how make things out of basic cheap ingredients though. You were truly blessed with these gifts.

Hey Laura how are you ? Don't listen to rude people they need to get a life. You feed your family how ever you want. You're a good mom we can all see that, I just went to a once a month food pantry my friend ask me to go with her and while we were there a lady ask me about my income i told her i was on SS and she ask me to take alot of the food because it was Friday and whatever was left was going in the trash. They gave me 10 banana boxes full of food. I'm glad i went, it is going to save me so much money at the store. So you do what's best for your family and screw the hateful people.

Years ago we went to a time share in Vegas. We got a jean jacket and $25 to gamble with at the Aladdin. We doubled our money.

I had to pay $1,000 to have cataract surgery done on both my eyes last May that was with Medicare and a supplemental insurance
