Sorry this one took so long, between having a weekend away and then picking up con flu I have just not had the energy.
But finally here are my full thoughts and theories on the Bron VHS tape.
I am convinced we are getting close to the release for Poppy Playtime chapter 3!

@@Tericho YOU MISSED SOMETHING ELSE IMPORTANT THAT I DID NOT!!!! If you look at the counter Bunzo is on, you'll see an unknown toy. It is a bird, has a green body, has tall legs that are orange, has large yellow legs, short stubby wings, and even a little growth of hair on its head. The could be referencing the repeating pattern in Bunzo's game (Which would make sense because the pattern references blue jays (A well-known species of bird that is actually related to Crows which also have a crested beak) and Bunzo himself is on the exact same counter whose's game has the pattern), but for now, we don't know yet. Another thing I should note though is that the changes to this toy may NOT be final. The final toy could change a little or a lot or even be replaced or removed from the game entirely like the toys for the Chapter 2 mini games did for one reason or another. Well, time will tell that. I think it will change at least a little bit, but I have a cool concept Blue Jay toy I might show in a video to Mob Entertainment soon that might replace the toy. (In other words...I actually may cause this new new toy its demise. |: If you loved the toy and I got rid of it and you hate my toy I will forever be sorry.) As for the toys that were already scrapped, well, they could see the light of day after all, if they get very loved, that is. It has been announced that if any of the scrapped toys get really popular, then that scrapped toy(s) that got popular could be added in Chapter 4, but personally, I think that is far too late. I think it should be as simple as adding them in a few posters or even giving them a cardboard cutout in Chapter 3. The toys that seem to have the best chance are the Fox in Bunzo's game, Lilly the frog, and Cy-Dog (because Thinknoodles loves him and he has almost 10M subs already), but there are no guaranties that any of the scraped toys will actually make a comeback. As for the toy I want to make a return the most, I want Cy-Dog because we ALREADY HAVE PJ AND I NOTICED THE "Kitty Cats Collection" LABEL ON CAT BEE's BOX AND NOW I WANT A DOG COLLECTION AND CY-DOG IS ALSO TOO CUTE TO THROW AWAY FOREVER PLEASE MY PEOPLE!!! BRING THIS ROBOT DOG BACK!! (This comment is too long though, so I think this is a good place to stop. ...For now.)

The Game Station is where the orphans play the games. And maybe that's why Bron was attack, since the toys could be children who all got experiment on and turned into toys.

The "knew he was different" to me I first thought was suggesting that Bron was the first to VOLUNTEER, where the others may have not been, and that that may affect the process.

The scurrying/all-fours might also be how they run. We only see Huggy run twice, clambering through the vents and leaping at you in the chapter's end. He definitely seems to scurry in the vents.

We also see Huggy run on all fours in the Project Playtime trailer when he chases the hazmat suit guys, so it’s definitely just their way of running. It’s kinda the same as Monkeys/Apes, they can walk on 2 legs, but moving on all fours is way faster.

And on the huggy wuggy vhs tape, he runs out of the facility on all fours. It's definitely how they run, no doubt about it.

to answer the two different walking styles for missy and huggy: The only time you see both of them "walk" on all fours is when they are trying to get to a location fast. Considering both huggy and missy are very tall, running on all fours would make them a lot more stable therefore making them a lot faster

It would make sense that the toys have their own "areas". Simply places that they like to go, spaces they feel most comfortable, that is "theirs". Before shit went down, Mommy spent all her time in the game station taking care of the kids, so it makes sense she'd stay there, it feels like home. Also Mommy talked about the Blank the same tone as she talked about Poppy. I think that's more how she looks at children and other toys.

Concerning the movement thing, my thought was that they walk on two legs to travel around casually or slowly, then drop onto all fours to run. Or it just depends how they feel at the time, sometimes they choose to be bipeds, sometimes they choose to be quadrupeds.

I actually love the idea, In the trailer for Project playtime Huggy walks on two legs but once he gives chase he begins running on all fours possibly so he can have a speed advantage.

@@iaiart oooo heH that makes a lot of sense! His arms are about as long as his legs it'd be way easier to run on all fours without tripping in them! Walking is fine but giving chase you need to make sure you aint fumbling over your long limbs. And he probably goes way faster that way.

I think they used to be afraid of light back then but eventually they got used to it and weren’t scared of it anymore. Which is probably why they started fighting back, led by the prototype. As much as I want to believe that flashlights are used in future chapters, I doubt they’ll help to chase the big toys away. Maybe it will work against smaller ones still.

Bron's POV clearly shows his toy eyes don't have the same vison arc as the eyes of living creatures. Again, this may mean that at least some of the toys could have technological cameras for eyes which is why 1006 harvested those parts as well.

I'm still convinced that the poster in the VHs Tape with the human, shows the nervous system, since the human shape then often looks very thin, and in relation to transfer a human into a toy, the nervous system is very important, when they want that the human can pilot the toy correctly

There is a couple of stuff to be said First maybe the toys attacked because they thought bron is out of order for moving in the light? And asked boxy to extend his hand from some place in the dark and pull bron there so they can attack. You see bron at the beginning was in a spot of light and suddenly it is all dark. I also found it interesting that the toys were running from the light. Second thing that confused me is the video taken from the first time they transferred the employee into bron or after the attack. Maybe at the beginning he was not so weak or disoriented but then after spending 12 hours to stabilize him he became this weak?

My main concern is in the video when you see bron lying on the floor, the employee doesn't check their surroundings. This is a major safety risk especially considering one of the experiments was attacked. It could be to hide the other toys, or the employee was armed and was not concerned about their safety. Regardless, there is a lot of hidden information in the shadows.

I remember people saying the go to sleep secret message looks like the has mask next to a gas tank. I personally believe this because of how significant the gas mask is to chapter 3.

Ive kinda assumed the "they know hes different" line meant that they somehow knew that he volunteered to be put into a toy while they didnt, so they attacked him

If we look at the filthy condition of the floor in the research room and state of Bron's holding cell we can see they are both INCREDIBLY old. This would indicate that the experimenting has been going on for a very, very long time. This tape would have been made extremely far along in the experiment process if everything was new to begin with.

There seems to be an upsurge of activity from Mob Games' social media accounts in the last few months. Especially with their VHS teasers, that behind the scenes chapter 2 anniversary video, and the Playtime co employee safety/guidelines video they've released on youtube. How likely is this signaling that the chapter 3 gameplay trailer might be released soon?

You said you didn't know whether they only put the brain in the small toys but Bron had a larynx and a thyroid so it's definitely more than just a brain. The larynx suggests he either needed to be able to keep swallowed food/drinks out of his windpipe or that he was supposed to be able to speak

I’ve got a lot to say about Experiment 1006: If it’s true that each toy has a separate part of the factory to call “home”, we’ll most likely face Experiment 1006 in the Innovation wing of the factory that was locked in Chapter 1, because: One of the death screens say, “Innovation is key, may we forget death, get up” followed by a red screen, which is normally associated with 1006 (and also associated with the “red” poppy flower). Of all the toys in the factory, 1006 sounds most likely to survive for a much longer time than all other experiments 1006’s hand looks suspiciously like an ungloved grabpack hand that’s been altered to have claws, which also points to “innovation”. 1006 made a laser pointer out of an alarm clock, so it’s not too far out of the question that he/it could change a grabpack hand. Of all the people 1006 could be, I believe he/it could be “Harley Sawyer/The Doctor” because, as dangerous to humans as the claw is to humans, the fingers on that claw might also be used to make incisions and extractions, like a surgeon. And considering that anesthesia would be needed to do even “normal” surgeries, the poppy flower was most likely used to put people under when they were being turned into toys. It’s possible 1006 may be building someone/something different than a body for just him/itself, but I dunno.

I have a theory that there is some sort of garden or greenhouse area which Daisy lives in. This would make sense since there are so many experiments and it seems that they use poppy flowers to make a gas or liquid so they would have to get them from somewhere. It also might draw attention to Playtime Co. if they are importing or just generally buying large amounts of poppy flowers or seeds. I feel like this would be an awesome place to explore and Daisy makes sense as if to 'Guard' the poppy flowers since she's a flower and makes plant-related jokes. She would also have to be immune to the gas since there would be a lot of around that area since the scientists wouldn't want to have to move large amounts of poppy flowers all over the factory.

I like this and would love for this to happen. But also remember Poppy was meant to “smell just like a poppy flower”. So, maybe if they were bringing in huge amounts of poppy flowers or seeds, for the gas, they could just say they are bringing in these large quantities to make the poppy doll scent in house as a cover. Either scenario is cool but I’d love to just come across a giant underground flower area that makes it feel like you’re outside. The juxtaposition would be great!

Maybe the “wake up” stuff could mean that the player hasn’t come to terms with the fact that they’re now a toy and poppy wants them to “wake up” and accept the fact that they’re a doll.

I like to think that they use some sort of chemicals on some of the organs to shrink or grow them, since Poppy’s, Mommy’s, and Thomas’s eyes are all definitely not the same size as human eyes.

5:00 Off the top of my head, it's some weird sci-fi "melt down/reshape the humans organs to toy size and put them in the toy" sort of thing, which could explain why the process seems to have had...problems, along with the obvious "human being is now a frigging toy" issue. I think of it a bit like the Big Daddy process in _Bioshock_

I like the animal splicing theory. I was wondering why they didn't freeze when they came in with the light, instead they scurried away like animals. I also think that she moves like monkeys do when they are scurrying away. I also think that that's how they knew he was different because of their animalistic senses.

What if the way they move is based on how much of the brain transferred to the toy body? The more primitive and animalistic the toys are, the smaller amount of the upper brain that passed over. Maybe only the brain stem would function. I still think that Huggy is most likely the character that Jacksepticeye played (I cannot think of his name at the moment) because we are shown how obedient he is. Even under verbal abuse, he STILL follows instructions down to the letter, including getting coffee after he’s been talked to abysmally.

My initial thought was that they attacked Bron bc they knew he was different by how they only had light around him (him moving around in light). Maybe he was a plant to study the other Toys and boxy was able to reach him w/o getting into the light and specifically snatched his vocal cords to possibly keep him from talking "or reporting" back to the scientists. Or it could prove that the employees "volunteering" isn't entirely true, maybe the toys rebelled bc the employees that did volunteer probably opted out the experiment but the scientists refused to put them back in their human form. Trying to kill Bron was maybe a sense of them trying to sabatoge the scientists new experiments

I kind of thought maybe they attack Bron for being "different" in the way some wild animals sense sickness in others, and who knows if the toyfication process eliminates the sickness or puts it in a sort of stasis. I guess that would depend on how the organ transplant process works? The smaller toys definitely seem to act more animalistic, maybe the younger the subject is, the less likely they retain their sentience when becoming a toy. Another thing, are they just keeping a bunch of the toys in some kind of basement? Is it a repository for rejects, as in toys they experimented on but didn't find viable? So they just throw them in this dark area? Seems weird if, like you said, they invest a lot of money into this project and are supposed to be caring for the toys strictly even from a financial standpoint, that they would just hage a bunch of them in this busted looking warehouse area. And why would they also put Bron there, if he was "successful" albeit acting really off? I have so many questions, we need the new chapter already 😂

I think this video Only has a few Purposes: 1:) confirm that the Toys do not have any memory of their Past lives (which is stated by the scientist) 2:) to confirm that the Toys do have Internal Organs, and that it indeed their "blood" we see scattered throughout the factory. (This could be a combination of Blood & the Poppy-fluid mentioned in the experiments notes) 3:) the Toys are now limited in their new Forms. Huggy & Missy are all floppy-bodied, and missy can barely move the Lever. And Bron is limited by his design, which can only move its Neck, and legs ...but limited

Ok, so I kinda had a thought that perhaps the player we control could be Bron? I mean, I don't remember exactly the beginning of the game but have a faint memory of a letter saying we used to be a worker in the factory, trying to discover what happened. I also remember some people saying in the firsts theories that we could be a toy, a small one (because of the proportions of the scenario), but it was really long ago and I don't know totally the theories that are currently going on (English isn't my first language, sorry for grammar errors or if it seems rude)

14:21 I think I saw somewhere about the bigger bodies initiative having a trials, so I think there are different people in different bodies. So bear with me here maybe the ones walking upright got the go ahead to workaround the factory like how they were intended. And the others that ended up hostile got put down in wherever those VHS tapes were taken.

After knowing what we do now from Chapter 3. I think maybe Bron had used the gas mask to avoid getting hallucinations from the gas. When the other toys found out they got angry at him and attacked him and went straight for his throat. As the mask was protecting his lungs from the exhalation of the nightmare gas.

13:38 them running on all fours is for speed. In chapter one huggy is walking slowly towards the play and then later during the chase, he’s running through the vents on all fours. In chapter two kissy walks slowly towards the gate.

My theory is that bron/ thomas might have been someone who worked with the orphans and that they partially blame him aswell as the rest of the faculty gor their fate and bron was just the only one they could hurt

I think the reason he was different was because he was an employee at Playtime, while the other toys were either orphans or animals that held their grudge against the employees.

I think go to sleep is in reference to the nursery rhyme, go to sleep little baby. Which will be the song in the trailer and tie into the new enemy for chapter 3, perhaps a toy based on a nocturnal animal.

I believe that huggy and kissy who run on all fours came from dogs and where put somewhere away from people because they where the first experiment versions of kissy and huggy but the ones we see in game are the final versions that came from people

For me it’s ultimately unclear whether 1006 may be building a new body for: 1. A body for him/itself, but then why do that? He/it doesn’t seem to be interested in taking over the toy market, but DOES seem interested in “attacking” and “escape” from Playtime Co. As much as Harley Sawyer/The Doctor/1006 may’ve originally wanted to further the company by any means necessary… no matter what kind of living body 1006 has, if the body that 1006 has isn’t human, then marketing on behalf of Playtime Co. will never successfully happen. Put another way, “how could they could they say YES to a (likely inhuman…?) face like that?” lol 2. A body for Elliot Ludwig, but how would that happen? We’ve seen that Playtime Co. figured out how to TRANSFER consciousness in living toys such as Mommy Long Legs (whose name used to be “Marie Payne” before the experiments began), but we haven’t (yet) seen evidence of the company RESURRECTING consciousness. If Elliot passed away, there’s not yet any sign that he became a living toy. If Elliot is still alive but doesn’t have a body, that would mean the scientists STORED his consciousness somewhere in the factory, and 1006/The Doctor is trying to build a sort of “body” so that Elliot can continue furthering the company. 3. A body for Elliot’s daughter, but I still don’t understand how or why. We don’t know for sure whether the daughter is alive or deceased (my money’s on deceased, because motivations and plot). Missy/Huggy's movement: It could be the scurry is for moving faster. WHen we see them walking, they do it slowly. On attacking Bron, it's also he's violating the rules of moving during the light. A toy moving during teh light is "wrong". Also animalistic/feral: More to the point about humans in dire situations--children who were found alone in the woods were animalistic, they were mentally stunted and couldnt' even learn language, etc.

Maybe the running on all fours thing could be that normally huggy and kissy DO walk on all fours normally and when 1006 ia controlling them they walk on two legs. Idk the thought just came to me. I like the theory that huggy is almost like a guard dog for the factory so maybe the animalistic thing could be accurate. Feel free to correct me on anything here it's just how i understood it :)
