ty for mentioning the throwback Pom. I've had my black & tan Pom for 12 years and only last year learned of the throwback Poms, and how most are still purebred regardless of what the LAME akc thinks ! the family i got him from wanted a toy and assumed he was an over sized mutt, luckily a girl at pet supply that trims his nails is familiar with Pom breeding and told me she's 99% sure he's a purebred throwback, dna test pending.

I have a fox face Pom. Question, why do Poms do spins? I didn't teach her this and I have seen many others do the same thing.

Pomeranians often spin as a way to release excess energy or excitement. It's a very common behavior in not just pom poms but in many other small dog breeds.

A lot of people don't realize that there are different types, I've had people ask me if my Fox Face Pom was a purebred. They're not all 2-4 lbs.
