One thing that I love about your videos is that although I didn't come across them earlier and I just got my hair cut about two weeks ago. It used to be of the same length as you and now it is a bob style But now I am following your hair care routine from the time when you had them very short lol. So it works well for literally every length.❤

Nothing beats the not your mothers mousse but I've been liking the amika because of the extra heat protection. It adds volume and some hold and it worked better than the cake beauty mousse for me. I'm more of a foam girly though

Maybe in a future video, instead of just holding up products, you can show us their texture too & tell us about their feel (like does it have slip etc.). That would help a lot especially when some of these products are new to me😊

I have done clips showing product texture in the past and definitely want to again! I know it’s helpful. It does take a lot of work but if it’s something a lot of people really value then I’d definitely do that! I usually talk about texture a lot, maybe I didn’t as much in this video

Hi! Have you done a video with the Rizzo's mousse yet? Im struggling with finding the right styler combo using this foam since it doesnt have enough hold for me. I do like the definition and root volume. For mousse, I like the Mark Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Emhancing Styling Foam -- its a mousse not a foam and has strong hold!

Love all your tips and recommendations. We have similar hair and I’ve only recently discovered my curls/waves so still learning the right techniques and to simply have patience. I’ve spent years blowing out my hair to get rid of the frizz because I had no idea my hair is actually curly! Anyway, one of my new favorites is Kevin Murphy easy rider. I use it alone or paired with a Ouai wave spray.

Great video - thanks for your recs! Two questions: what are your thoughts on Briogeo gel? have you ever used Living Proof curl enhancer or gel - would love to know your thoughts (or anyone on here!) on those. Regarding mousse: I would love a video on mousse explaining how to use it - before/after gel? and different results when used alone or with gel and/or cream. Some of my faves: cake, amika, authentic beauty concepts. For foams - I've head good things about Pattern but haven't tried it yet. And JVN's volume mousse is great for roots. I wish JVN would make a gel.

I have the new AG Recoil version and just a heads up, it has a beautiful vanilla scent now. I read reviews on the older formula (which I never tried) that it smelled really unpleasant. It seems they listened to the input of people which is awesome. Have you tried Curlsmith's air dry cream by the way? I really enjoy that one and curious what your experience has been with it. I do have to be a little more light handed with it though as it provides a lot of moisture and slip.

I actually layered a brown liner and a red liner and smudged it out, then applied a clear gloss on top! I was trying to replicate the look of the Refy set 😅

I recently tried the briogeo curl cream twice and it left product "clumps" (white specks) throughout my hair :( would you say this is protein overload?

Usually this is because it didn't play nice with some other product in your routine. You can test this by mixing a tiny bit of each product in your hand. It will kinda clump up and look cottage cheese-y if they're not compatible.

Yes this is most likely it 👆 unless you’ve had the bottle for a long time then it could possibly be old.. protein overload will usually affect the texture of your hair!
