Can you do an updated “what I ask when I get a haircut” video, I love your hair style and the last video but I just need one that is right to the point so I could show my hair stylist exactly what I want through showing your video. Thank you!!

I use mousse and gel. The mousse gives volume and has polyquats that enhance curls. The gel provides hold. It's the best combo for my hair. This allows me to cut way back on the amount of gel that I use. Gel locks the moisture in my hair and increases the drying time considerably. This combo has given me better volume, definition, and decreased drying time.

Do you use the mousse first and then gel? Or vise versa?
@teresastackhouse66903 жыл бұрын
@@Fabieisthebest Yes, I rake mousse in, brush in sections to define and distribute, then glaze gel over the clumps followed by scrunching

Let me ask you this. Polyquats are not CG friendly, correct? So if I started using non-CG friendly products to improve my curls, can you still go several days with just refreshing? And do you use a sulfate shampoo every time?

I've been straighting my natural curly hair since 6th grade and tried to style my natural hair today, but when my father saw me he laughed at me. I've always had complex about my hair and decided to wear it natural, but I'm too scared that everyone will laugh at me and think it's ugly. I'm 22 now and I think this video is very helpful , I can't wait to try all these tips and to finally embrace my natural curls💗

Just came across your channel last night and have been binge watching your videos. So nice to come across someone who has wavy hair JUST LIKE MINE! My routine is very similar to yours and I even use a few of the same products, but you’ve given me a few ideas for new products/techniques to try! Definitely want to try adding in an oil, I don’t currently use one.

I often questioned the raking method. Your way, glazing makes more sense. I was looking at the nice curl clumps you had & if you were to rake the products, it would destroy them. I am going to try glazing on next wash day. I also like using foam for refreshing.

So pretty! I just got my hair cut into a chin length bob, and it’s so short haha! I have to wash it for the first time since getting it cut tonight so I’m excited/ scared to see how it goes! I feel like styling short vs long hair is a completely different routine!

I usually end up getting some really curly pieces/sections and some that are just a little wavy and then others that are almost flat😭 and then i go to sleep and the next day a lot of the curls are gone and im left with some subtle waves :/ I'll definitely try this routine and hope i finally get somewhat of an even look that lasts more than a few hours :')

I can’t use creams because I have fine wavy hair. I use gel, but I was using it backwards. I put my gel before my mousse. That probably explains why my waves didn’t hold. Thanks for the video.

I didn’t find it heavy at all! I think it would be nice on long hair! You might also try a lightweight but strong hold gel? The innersense one is really intense! Pairing something like that with a light leave in could do the trick!

First of all,, gorgeous results! ...but weird question for you... I know you air dry most of the time, as do I...do you ever have a problem with your hair drying? Sometimes it literally takes 7-)8 hours for my hair to dry completely. I only wash on days I have nothing to do 😆 . Or do you have any idea what can cause that? For some reason, I really can't find info on that.
