You better listen Tay. This is a very smart man. It’s highly inappropriate to allow your child to sleep in bed with you and a new mate. Come on now girl, you should know that. If it’s not his dad, then that’s nuts that you would think it’s ok. JR is a blessing at this point, because he’s schooling you. Too many predators out here to allow this. After 5 years old and that’s being generous, they should be on their own.

She did NOT say she thinks that’s okay 🙄 She actually agreed with JR, and explained that the reason it happened initially…is because while he was YOUNGER (about 5) he wasn’t used to not sleeping with his mom. So when he had nightmares, he’d crawl into the bed with her (which is normal). She also made it clear that he DIDN’T sleep NEXT to her man. However, when JR agreed that it shouldn’t have happened…she understood. That was 5yrs ago. Logan is now 10. I’m pretty sure he’s not sleeping in between them. Y’all have to BE CAREFUL with the narratives you put out there in the comments, when you’re not comprehending well. 🤦🏽♀️

I’m reading comments…and it seems most of you are already misconstruing Tamar’s words. She did NOT say that it’s okay for a child to sleep in the same bed as her & her partner, and *agreed* with JR’s stance on why it isn’t. If y’all listened before jumping to the comments…She clearly explained that when it happened initially…it was a situation where the child wasn’t used to not sleeping with her (in the way he did when she was single). So when he’d have nightmares in the middle of the night…he’d crawl into bed beside her (NOT next to her partner). Which is very common amongst children. So we’re not going to attack & act as if it’s not. I commend Tamar for being honest about it, especially coming from a single-parent household, it’s hard & there’s no manual. Thank you Tamar for transparency. I know it isn’t easy 🤍

You explained it very well!👏🏾 I saw a lot of negative comments about what Tamar said. People just take her words and make them to what they want to hear instead of listening to what she is actually saying. She is even explaining reasons why, and people still take it wrong!🤦🏾♀️
@amazingg8238 Жыл бұрын
@@S.Milano Exactly! 💯 It’s unfortunate that because people already have a negative preconceived notion about her…they block out comprehension when she’s speaking & immediately jump to attack, without understanding what was thoroughly explained. Everyone wants to act holier than thou on social media. It’s actually VERY normal for children to have separation anxiety (especially when it comes to their moms). It’s VERY normal for children to crawl into their parent’s bed in the middle of the night. However, as long as she understands why she shouldn’t continue to allow that & correct it…that’s most important. I pray for the day people aren’t so judgmental & seek to understand, instead of running to attack. 🤦🏽♀️

@@aliciapayton2609 Umm she was NOT talking about her relationship with JR. She was referring to when she was with her ex before him (which was YEARS AGO). She was speaking on people who got upset, because on Big Brother, she mentioned Logan sleeping in the bed with them & in this video she gave more context about that PRIOR situation BEFORE JR. Fast forward, she clearly stated that Logan doesn’t sleep in the bed with her & JR. She made that VERY clear. She said when it’s time for bed…she allows him to stay for 15minutes & if he wants to extend that time, she’s fine (but eventually goes to his OWN bed). Y’all don’t listen, or comprehend 🙄🤦🏽♀️
@amazingg8238 Жыл бұрын
Let me lastly comment… Tamar said a WORD when she said _“a predator is going to be a predator, whether the child is in the bed or not & easily go in the other room”_ Which is VERY TRUE. It’s scary that we can try & be as protective as we want…but the ONLY blame is the predator, themselves‼️

But after a curtain age your child should be able to sleep in his/her own bed and get used to sleeping alone in there own bed. Am I the only one that has taken notice to the very telling body language here. Tamar has not reciprocated this mans affections once. He is damn near palming her whole thigh and her arms are crossed. This is cringey!!! This is the epitome of oil and water. Im surprised this sham of a union lasted as long as it did. All this passive aggressiveness and gaslighting going on. Chile!

I can certainly understand Tamar's emotional defense on the topic of children being pushed into sleeping in their own bed, because a mom knows the emotional maturity of their child and can sense and feel things that others don't. God designed it that way for a purpose. I believe she was right on target when she emphatically said, "Weened", because mom's don't want their children associating fear and horror with something their mommy has decided to do. Associate fear with the power that God allows Satan to have, but not with mommy. I feel you, Tamar, on that notion, because I'm my mom's only child, and the weening process affects that child for the rest of their life, and no mom wants to make a mistake with their process. I believe that it's a Spirit-guided process for all families. You two, Tamar and JR, have done an amazing job sharing your perspectives on that topic. JR definitely raises valid concerns and expresses true emotions on how men feel about their kids being in "the bed" with another man without their input/consent/consult, etc. You two are setting a great example for Kingdom living for blended families. Kudos!!!

I totally agree with JR and from personal experience of Friends and family telling me situations that I cannot say 😢you cannot never be naïve about real life things happen that you will never understand in the bed .

I agree with JR about the Logan thing. Logan is a big kid not a infant/toddler. He shouldn’t BE FORCED TO SLEEP IN THE SAME BED AS A KID THATS ALMOST A TEENAGER . That also messes up intimate moments.

I totally agree with JR! That is not appropriate.
