All the high scores and short games are making darts boring. A 180 is no longer the achievement it once was. The long points are also making them easier to hit. I can still hit 5 or 6 a day at the grand old age of 65 with long points. Either make the legs 1,001 or reduce the size of the doubles and trebles if long points are here to stay. Old footage of Bristow, Wilson and Lowe etc shows their dart points going into the board right up to the barrel. So getting 180 in a smaller treble twenty with staples was far more exciting to watch.
