Being an ex darts player, The 1 game I've never forgot was Bristow vs Deller, 1983 & how Bristow & Deller tied & last leg Bristow should of gone bulls eye with last dart & didn't, & Deller had 138 to peg to win title & he pegged it, what was Bristow thinking, anyhow we'll see how littler plays, is he a great player or is he a player that will be great? Everyone is beatable on a bad day, littler will be the talk around town 4 a while ,His attitude will prove himself who he is? ( Aussie John)..

There's a big difference between the two. Take M.V.G for example ,I do not like his mood when he loses, when he wins, it's a different story, thats the ups & downs with sports. Eric played the percentages and it didn’t go in his favour allowing Deller the now infamous 138. MVG plays the same way and backfired on him a few times too. I watched Eric on some old show from the late 70’s YT recommended and Eric was a teenager so 2023/24 not the first time there has been a teenage darts sensation.

2023 Wright- $266k ranking money, European Championship winner (Major), Euro tour win and another final, World series event winner. Ranked in the top 8. Bunting- $228K ranking money, No wins or finals in any ranking tournament, Semis- Grand Slam. 2024 Masters win (after premier league already started) Ranked 17. The difference in 2023 is plenty, anything prior to that would take a whole page to list what Wright has done.

Clayton needed to win one or two legs early doors. I know Littler is receiving a lot of hype but he’s doing it as is Luke Humphries. Wright played well but Bunting was just a little too strong.

Van den Bergh is sooo boring to watch. Alright, all darts players compose themselves on a vinegar stroke, but not EVERY f'kin throw. Darts should be fluid and appeal to the crowd at this level. For anyone that remembers 70s snooker, a match between this beaut and Suljovic is akin to the grind of watching Eddy Charlton vs Terry Griffiths. Just painful.
