Heads and shoulders above the rest of the field that afternoon, Raida just edged out Noize to win this battle and go into the evening's Final with the #1 seed.

Was there, sat next to Raida behind the stage at the Hippodrome. This was the year Noize was absolutely on fire, he was doing showcases everywhere, the Westwood show, Liberty Groove record store etc. It was a very special year because Fast Jay and Crazy B were also there, they performed their hit song Respect as Allaince Etnik. Then that evening Qbert and MMM absolutely tore things up, especially MMM with his ill Dre and Cube 'Natural Born Killaz' routine. What memories... RIP RAIDA

DJ Noize set seems harder to play and was cleaner overall but doesn't quite have the same energy as Roc Raida's tricks. Noise still wins I reckon. Roc Raida had a cheat code to get fans on his side when he does the juggling 🤣

I personally think Noize should have won in 95, both mixes he did that year were better than Raidas no disrespect to Raida but I find his mix boring.
