Great video! Agree on all top four players. Surprised if anyone would leave Bergeron out. Part of putting them up on Mount Rushmore is the russsssh! we get from watching them versus memories of the older guys! Favorite all-time Bruin has to be Bobby. HOWEVER looking over their careers, I'm tempted to put Bergeron as 1A This is going to end up as a comparison of hockey eras. Bergeron absolutely belongs in the top 2. Going nose to nose with Bobby, Bergeron's 19 year career, nearly 1300 games to Bobby's decade in Boston with a career total of around 550 games wearing black & gold and of a few games with the Blackhawks. Bergeron going up against esposito? Esposito got his cups when there were only 12 -14 teams in the league. Lotsa blood 😬 But there's a big difference on the targets they're shooting at Goalie gear has been totally revolutionized. It's funny I saw a bar chart showing the average goals per team over the past hundred years, when Bergeron was coming up, goalie gear was getting bigger -one of the lower years of average goals per team Bobby came up when average team goals were relatively low also. But that was pre-expansion Bourque played when all time average goals per team was at its highest since the 1940s. Different games. Ray bourque had a Different era than the others He definitely belongs in the top 4 totally agree with your top four, thinking of putting Bergie further up after looking over his entire career, the league he played in. Now, if you want trouble? start asking about the top 5-20 players in Bruins history? Those could be some spicy conversations! Wish we were able to see more pre-75 black and white highlights. very fuzzy difficult to see. Leafs last playoff cup memory is black and white and fuzzy! I almost feel bad.. NOT! 😆 I had to - You're a bear 🐻 sitting among the leaf 🍁 pile that's your Christmas gift 🎁

I have no problem with the list, and considering I witnessed his entire career even going back to that dark season where they traded Big Joe and Patrice was one of the very few bright spots while having his breakout season...I was hoping for Bergy being the final and "controversial" pick...but for any current B's fans young or old, I think they'd have a tough time arguing against it. And I would add we're all pretty fortunate to have such a recent Bruins legend, he rounds out the list perfectly, in my opinion. I'd say he redefined what a modern day two-way/Selke winning forward should be.

Eddie Shore has to be there, 14 years a Bruin, 4 Hart Trophies, All Star appeareances but they didnt start till later in his career. The only blemish would be his hit on Ace Bailey which almost cost Ace his life. Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito and Terry O'Reilly, he opitimized what it meant to be a Boston Bruin. Ray Bourque desrves to be there, Patrice Bergeron, Milt Shmidt, Cam Neely, Rick Middleton, Johnny Bucyk. So many great Bruins, anyone of those belong on a Mount Rushmore of legendary Bruins hockey.

Pretty good list, but the one you got wrong wasn't Bergeron, it was Bourque! I know, I know, not a popular take, but I was born in 1975 and raised a Habs fan. During those late 80s/early 90s playoff matchups between Boston and Montreal, it was never Bourque that we feared. NEVER! It was always that b*stard Neely! That jerk was always the reason the Habs didn't get out of the Adams Division! Thankfully the year I graduated high school was the Habs year: 1993! I got the last laugh among all the hockey fans in my class, and most of them were Bruins fans. What a great year! Never even had to see most of those clowns again after laughing in their faces. It was wonderful! The only reason I'm following Boston now is for Marchy, who might not make the top 4, but in many ways I think he probably should. Being from Nova Scotia myself, I cheer for Team Halifax: Sid, Nate, and Marchy! All I want is for all 3 to share in Olympic Gold and to end up in the Hall of Fame. That's what it's all about!

Is this something you can actually do. If you are going to do this, you almost to have to do a synopsis for each generation. Reason being is because players like Milt Schmit, Dit Clapper and Eddie Shore are going to always be off the lists, because they are out of are memory. There is no one alive today that can remember them play. I got to see my first Bruins game back in 1974 at 10 years old. Before watching the whole video, I am guessing One player is going to make your list, maybe two, but you could easily fill in all four Rushmore players from that team alone. Esposito, Hodge, Bucyk and Orr. and maybe for some comic relief we can throw in Sanderson.
