I used to hold my wife while she cried after losing her father to this song... she took her own life a few years later from prepartum depression.. my life is upside down and this song still makes me smile

I have NEVER seen Jack so still throughout the performance of a song, it actually makes my heart ache. Granted you don't see much of him... but still he's normally all over the place.

The amount of feeling and emotion that he puts into that song is inspirational. He is so strong

@jessicamarie1985 That's actually my best friend! We went to see ATL in Columbus in November of '09 and during the first verse of Therapy a guy yells out "You're the man!", and Alex actually responds "Yes, I am." I actually have a video of it on here, and both lines are very clear. So during the break in Lullabies my buddy said he'd do it, and as you can tell, he did :)

@LaraMalinaxx I hope that this wasn't the last tour they play it regularly on. It's one of their best, for sure.

Look at how much fun RIan looks like he's having. Seriously the amount of emotion this entire band puts into this song is incredible. I love these boys.

@dbaseballw I think the combination of the closeness of the crowd (there were less than 400 people at this show), and how much this song means to Alex created a very emotional reaction from him. It was awesome.

i NEED to see this live. it's amazing.

@hitherekelly It's awesome that they had this tour so that songs like this can be played, perhaps even for the last time. Songs like Lullabies, Running From Lions, Vegas, and The Girl's A Straight Up Hustler will probably be rarities at their shows after "Dirty Work" comes out. Truly one of their best songs. It was a pleasure to see it live.

@hitherekelly And people like you, along with reliving the memories myself are the reason I record some songs at shows :)
