Super humble nice guy, I ran into him twice at holster hills, we were both flat tracking pumped up XR100s, and he was amazing. Helped me with advice as if I hired him to coach me. It really brought me down, when only a couple years later he passed. RIP a true legend.

You still ride there? I’ve ridden Ricky’s hundred on that track! I’m friends with his nephew.

Met Ricky at lima, he was getting ready to leave and I was early for the amateur race that day. Hardly no one there yet so we got to talk for a few minutes. Really good guy. Was my daughter's favorite rider back then. Sad he is gone.

The thing about this short clip it doesn't talk about Doug Fay who got the motorcycles together for him on his most winning year and did most of the mechanicing that got him the extra horsepower that he needed and set a little short track so he could practice on days off the circuit Doug fay tuned his bikes and tune Ricky Graham to be a champion

I remember riding at the motocross track at Laguna Seca in 1993, and I was just playing around on my Yamaha 490. One slow corner was about a foot deep of dusty dirt and apparently Ricky was trying to pass me and I punched it and made him wipe out with all the dirt in his face. Later he cam up to me and gave me his goggles. At the time, I had no idea who he was, and was baffled. I didn't have a good pair of goggles so I just used them! I should have saved them!!

Ricky's time here was short, he was in a hurry to get things done. I have great memories of watching him do it.

"Rocket" Ricky Graham! Took a friend to his first dirt track race to the Indy mile and we went into the infield so we could go down to the fence between turns 3 and 4, he was totally blown away! Graham won that race and we went down to the podium after the race and he got to get close to Graham and some other riders, he couldn't believe how small they were in comparison to what they could do on those bikes! I loved watching Graham ride along with Parker, Springsteen, Boody, Shobert, they could really put on a show!!

Ricky Graham to myself is the greatest flat Track Motorcycle racer ever along with Kenny ( The King )Robert's. Ricky may have got some more horsepower but he wasn't out motoring anyone, Ricky was just plain and simple out riding everyone. I raced against Kenny Roberts in the 250cc class and his Yamaha wasn't as stout as the Bultaco Astro 250ccs but it was Kenny's riding that made up for it. Roberts XS 650 Yamaha was a sled and he still gave the XR750 Harley's pure Hell. Ricky Graham could make a Motorcycle do whatever he wanted it to do, Ricky was that good of a rider. These Aft riders today wouldn't hold a cangle for Ricky Graham to run by as they're not as talented. Ricky would crush them. RIP Champ!

Grahm embarrassed H.D. on a factory Honda after they proved their point to the motor company Honda pulled out Grahm came back as a privateer and kicked Harley's ass again even with extra weight and restrictors in the intakes. One heck of a rider.
