Stock Aitken Waterman! Thanks for your work! The '80s would have been poorer without them!

I've got all their albums, cd singles, remixes, etc. I love the sound of S.A.W. It was the sound of my life. Most of the time I had a happy childhood, good memories, lots of fun, lovely parents, nice friends and family. No computers, smartphones, internet. Life was simple, easy and warm.

The first song I heard from SAW was 'This Time I Know It's For Real' when I was about 13/14 years old and only recently (within the last year) I started looking into more of SAW's hits and wow. I've always loved 80s music but there's something about SAW's music that just makes me incredibly happy

A product of its time - a short century of electronic music! I liked it when I was young, but now it seems naive and too simple to me! ! A little nostalgia for youth! !I prefer opera, musicals and classics with good music performed by professional orchestras and good strong voices! Electronic music with a short century, however, thanks!

Our musical taste changes as we grow older but I think we'll always have a special place in our heart to the music we grew up on. Usually the teen years has a huge impact with lots of memories and scenarios we can experience only in these years, so the music becomes a part of the things we went threw. Thats why when you're older new music doesn't feel special and It's hard to connect to it. At least It's like that for me, maybe It's way different for others.

I think the writing/production of Kylie's Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi and Donna Summer's Love's About To Change Your Heart were 2nd to none. Should've been on list instead of Sealed With A Kiss, Ferry Aid or Band Aid II.

Stock/Aitken/Waterman were the nadir of the 1980s. I liked a lot of their stuff back in 1987 and 1988, but it has aged horribly.

@@ExplorHits Bullshit. SAW sounds much better than the low-energy rnb garbage will have today.
@ExplorHits5 жыл бұрын
@@Oysterblade84 I agree with that aspect, if you compare nowdays music to any of SAW productions, SAW songs will sound like masterpieces. Nowdays music has no soul, it's more of a fast-consumed product that you're getting tired of after a week of listening.
@Oysterblade845 жыл бұрын
@ExplorHits Today's music seems to be all about sex and nothing else. From Drake, Rhianna, Chris Brown to Arianna Grande, Zara Larrsson and Lizzo, I want music to be about the rhythms, leads and bass and percussion aswell, not just the sexual lyrics. SAW productions have aged great!
