Fun fact: the armour from the knights of the nine dlc is the only leveled armour that levels with you to increase the strength of the armour shield and weapons put it in the armour stand at the priory of the nine then take it off again this increases it to your level

Such is the curse. Also IIRK it gives 500 infamy. That means everyone hates you, and guards attack on sight. Though as soon as you remove the cowl, every murder, theft, aggression, or misdemeanor done with the cowl is forgotten. The cowl ends up being a persona, a disguise. As soon as you remove it, you go back to the fame or infame you had before, plus any bounty you had before.

During the Mehrunes razor dlc quest you can get your hands on a unique light armor set if you kill that assassin guy inside the prison building he has a full set of enchanted light armor, and also at the end of the mehrunes razor dlc quest you can get your hands on a unique robe + hood from Frathen Drothan.

Unpopular opinion: the Oblivion design for the Imperial Legion Armor is much better than the ones from Skyrim and Morrowind. It actually has a distinct look that blends fantasy with real world inspiration rather than being a total copy of Roman Armor.

Also, wearing the crusader's relics during the Great Gate and after the Paradise main quest, Bruma will give a badass statue in that armor though the statue does act very strangely during my playthrough, it is still a badass statue.

I advice to do the Thieves Guild questline first, to acquire the cowl of the Greyfox asap. It allows to do the dark brotherhood quests without getting a hit on the fame if you want to get the armor of the nine later (or one has to do the pilgrimage again and again to clear their sins). The armor of the nine requires no infamity, or cannot be equipped.

The worst part is that I believe it takes like 2 in game weeks or so for your character to actually receive it

I remember when I played this and beat the game and I was sitting there picking out my armor for the imperial dragon armor and he said it’d be a week and I slept so many in game days and never got it, I just guess at the time I didn’t know where to collect it or I just got unlucky and didn’t wait long enough but dang I wish I would have got it😂but I kinda wanna revisit this game

I also like the crusader armor but the one in Skyrim I kinda hate how if you mess up or do something wrong it’ll make you go back to all the shrines and stuff and it just makes the stats worst for whatever reason
