How come up with 8 traps per acre? if each trap is place 30 ft apart?

Hi 👋 in general we recommend utilizing the traps in spaces that are being occupied by the homeowner. Mosquitoes are seeking a blood meal near humans and animals. If the application is a home the 8 traps is a recommendation based on occupied space. If the application is commercial you may want to consider the 1500 sf formula. Most environments require analysis of the Pest Control Professional to determine the exact need based on the demographics of the application and its environment. The Amount of foliage in the yard and nearby water sources also plays a role in the mosquito population and volume of traps to utilize. Due to these variables we placed 8 Traps per acre as a Guide.
