No one adresses that, but Sooga holding back 4 Ganon Blights with his ninja techniques implies that he is more powerfull that the 4 champions, and even with theirs allies from the future, whose could barely survive a round with those beasts. In that sense: Sooga was the greatest loss in terms of allies to be.

I doubt he "held them back" considering how worn down he was from their recent skirmish for him to even be able to fight back for more than a few seconds. It's likely that as soon as Kohga made his escape Sooga met his end at the hands of the 4 overpowered Ganon Blights.

@@javiervasquez625 Sooga definitely holds them back. He performs the exact same move he does on the Blights as a Weak-Point Smash attack. He held them back enough to buy time for Master Kohga to go to Zelda and Impa.

I feel like not a lot of people talk about this but I love how, so far, Astor's the only major Zelda antagonist who *barely gives a shit about Link* Most enemies see Link as their strongest foe (including Ganondorf himself), Cia is in love with him, and yet Astor's barely focused on Link and just sees him as just some guy in his way. I can't fully explain why but that's arguably Astor's best aspect

@@Lexicon865 The guy utterly failed to counter Zelda's recruitment of the Champions despite having several DAYS in advance to put his plans into motion so that they would either 1) die or 2) become unwilling to join her side for wathever reason (sickness, blackmail, etc.). He also failed at using Harbinger's memories from the future to prevent Zelda from EVER awakening her Sealing Power again by either 1) preventing Link from being near Zelda's vicinity or 2) KILLING HER IN THE SPOT by sending a Yiga assassin to Hyrule Castle and impersonate a Hylian maid that would kill her while she's dressing herself in her bedroom away from Link and Urbosa's overprotecting eyes. Finally his biggest blunder by far and absolute proof of his incompetence as a "villain" and henchman is ALLOWING Link to draw out the Master Sword from it's pedestal despite having Harbinger's *memories* of the Master Sword's ability to counter Malice at his disposal to send ALL of his forces to the Korok Sanctuary to prevent Link from EVER drawing out the sword. The guy was literally CENTIMETERS AWAY from Link during the scene and he just STOOD THERE *watching* it play out instead of... i don't know attacking him with Malice to prevent Link from even grasping the sword's hilt. All in all ASStor's list of blunders is soooo extended that he by far is the most worthy candidate for the title of *Worst Zelda Villain* that could ever exist in The Legend of Zelda series. Hopefully Nintendo is smart enough to completley ignore this character from Tears of the Kingdom's storyline.

@@javiervasquez625 Astor is a bad villain- but he’s not the worst. That goes to Zant. Zant is terrible at his job. Dude doesn’t even try to stop Link at all, he only focuses on Midna. Astor couldn’t have sent a Yiga to kill Zelda- Kohga wouldn’t have allowed it, plus why would there be a maid visiting Zelda? I’m sure Rhoam wouldn’t allow such a thing. He was too focused on making sure the Yiga were co-operative and seeing the future to stop the Champion recruitment. He could have stopped Link from pulling the Master Sword. But he didn’t, because all he was focused on was killing Zelda. Zelda unleashed her sealing power when Astor sent the Blight Ganons to attack Link. I’m sure all he was focused on at that point was removing Link from his sight and strike Zelda.

Gotta love those two greatest villains' lines, for my opinion. 😎 Not only just that I love, but I also love that the two english voice dub actors did other two voice characters in Overwatch. 😅 For Astor, voice by Jon Lipow, who's the voice of Hammond's robotic ball machine, Wrecking Ball. For Ganondorf (TotK), voice by Matt Mercer, voice of McCree (now Cassidy).

IMO I think it's 100% him because he basically saw in the future than Calamity Ganon would revive and take control of the divine beasts, so he warned the King of the prophecy SPECIFICALY so that they would discover the divine beasts and guardian and ganon could take control of them. Basically playing 5D chess by making it so that the kingdom digs its own grave.

Astor’s cult intrigued me. They bear the Gerudo symbol on their backs, which makes me wonder about what happened between them and the Gerudo.

Nothing. The "Ganon Cult's" use of the Gerudo symbol was nothing but a cheap way to explain their allegiance to Ganondorf just as past "Ganon henchmen" have done including Onox, Veran and Zant who all bore the symbol within their clothes despite having _no ties_ to the Gerudo tribe whatsoever. PS: their use of the Gerudo symbol as reference to their loyalty to Ganondorf does not mean the game is *canon.*

@@javiervasquez625I’m just gonna imagine that it was a reference to how other main minions sported the symbol. Also no one said it meant it was canon so you can stop putting words in my mouth. Plus, all we knew Ganon is associated with Ganondorf in some way, who was known to be a Gerudo, which the affiliation was the only trace of Ganon or Ganondorf I guess Hyrule had left before the second Calamity. Urbosa knew Ganon was associated with the male Gerudo, which is why I wondered. You can stop ruining people’s fun now.

I hope we get too see more of the group that Astor was a part of in Totk, considering they didn't die (maybe) in the original timeline. It just seems like a waste to take this mysterious group that worked to bring about the calamity and not have them show up in some form after it's been thwarted in the future.

Thing is they were a specific creation of *Harbinger Ganon* (Ganondorf's Malice from the future) for the very purpose of changing events from the original timeline and so prevent Zelda from awakening her Sealing Power. Taking into account the lack of any reference to this "Ganon Cult" in Breath of the Wild it's clear that they never *existed* in the original timeline and were only written into Age of Calamity's plot to justify ASStor's role as the game's badguy.

@@catalyst539 His motivation was to literally conquer the World _just because._ He doesn't have a beef against the Royal Family, he doesn't have a personal reason for serving Ganondorf, doesn't have the _intelligence_ to realize he's nothing but a lackey who's destined to _die_ and he singlehandedly proved himself to be the most incompetent villain in the entire Zelda timeline by having *multiple* times to kill Zelda easily yet failed every single time.
