Every time I watch one of these videos, my desire to travel to Japan grows. There’s so much beautiful about this country, and I fall more and more for it each time. Thanks for this and all your other videos, Mike 👍🏼
@eisenklad5 жыл бұрын
just do it... i went to japan for 1 week, i didnt even speak much japanese. i do know some words but they were so accommodating and the olympics meant some of them brushed up on their english. go cheap, travel around the whole country. as a guy traveling alone, capsule hotels aint so bad. hostels are also great but depending on how cheap you might not get a locker. if you are traveling cross country, the bullet trains are great when paired with the railpass (saved me almost 2x the cost of the rail pass). i took the bullet train from tokyo to hokkaido, a couple of express trains around hokkaido and back to tokyo. my only regret was i didnt get to fully enjoy each area. so i want to go back there but limit myself to each region. and i need a newer phone, it was raining on most days that i can really take photos since my phone wasnt water resistant. Probably Hokkaido for winter in 2020 after the olympics end.

So my friend and I went to Japan during sep-okt and there were alot of things we wanted to do and among these, trying waguy was a must. But since we didn't know to much about the prices of waguy and good restaurants, we were a tad bit lost. Then I found this video and it was so helpful. Thanks to you we had a great time at Ginza steakhouse and a memory for life. Thanks man

I can vouch for the second place. They were extremely shocked and almost disappointed (lol) that I only had 5 servings of the wagyu. They were urging me to have more but I made the mistake of going for the fatty beef constantly and it just got way too rich for me. The onion was a life saver. Still an amazing experience and would go again 10/10

Four of us went to Ginza Steak after I watched your video. We were ending a trip to Japan and celebrating our friends birthday just after Typhoon Jebi struck in September. We went at lunch time and opted for the lunch trial steak course for 5,800 yen. We were there for 1.5 hours and enjoyed it tremendously, from the Wagyu Shabu Shabu, to the varying levels of Wagyu, the staff were courteous, attentive to our every desire and even brought out a nice birthday dessert for our friend after we were finished. Highly recommend trying it if you'v never had Wagyu steak before. Thanks for recommending this place on your video!
