Wow, its Yamato-kan! Been here countless times. I’m so glad that both Sonny and Shizzy enjoyed their experience there. I was just extremely lucky to have working close to this joint. It’s not too difficult to book a table here so whenever you are in Japan, I recommend you try this fantastic restaurant out. Just a little pricey though!

You get used to people mispronouncing your name for no other reason than because they just aren't used to the sounds of the different language. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather you just go with your mispronunciation and move on than take 5 minutes trying to nail down the pronunciation exactly.

Japanese got the best beef in the world. Regardless whatever the grade, they taste so good, literally melt in your mouth. Well, no meat can beat A5 though haha.. We tried Hida Beef in Takayama street food and literally can go back to Japan just to eat wagyu :)

Just got back from Japan, I went to a restaurant for all you can eat Wagyu beef. I DON’T know the grade but had different cuts and it was awesome! While grilling the cuts. I often thought how it would taste if the cuts were marinated with all the different Asian sauces. But I guess they want you to experience how it marble the meat is.
