I went to a similar restaurant in Sydney for the first time last year. It was such an experience. For a meat eater like myself it was heaven. I think the place was called Braza from memory.

Brazilian steakhouses are the best. I'm wondering how much you could've put away if you didn't have to worry about talking to the camera or filming in general. Last time I went to Fogo de Chao here, I got a bad case of the meat sweats...but kept going!

Fire can do some amazing things to food on it's own, but even moreso when someone knows how to utilize that Fire. and cooking meats on a Spit, sealing the juices inside while basting the meats with their own fat, perfect way to use Fire to heighten food.

Ken, this was a great video. Brazilian steakhouses are amazing. I used to go often with family when I lived in NY. I also love Norwegian Cruise Line's Brazilian Steakhouse called Moderno. The Brazilian steakhouses I went to in NYC and NJ also had things like rabbit, duck, chicken hearts, and oxtail.

The sausage is "linguiça calabresa". You ate some picanha too! Frango com bacon (chicken with bacon) is the best! Greetings from Santo André, Brasil!

Congrats on your weight loss, Ken. I hope you're able to keep it off. My "issue" with the carnivore diet is how extreme it is. I get skipping bread, spuds & sugar, but the carbs in a side of cocktail sauce, or a slice of onion with a burger patty, or even a couple slices of orange with breakfast are not enough to have any negative effects on weight or blood sugar.

the diet works and it IS extreme, that's the point. this is fast weight loss for drastic measures, when age or general health is keeping you from working off the weight. in Ken's case it is his job that's putting the weight on him and he exercises as often as he can, wasnt enough though, so this is the answer.

I went to the Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse in Niagara Falls with a group of fellow employees and our spouses a couple of decades ago. Unfortunately, like so many restaurants in Niagara Falls it has now closed down permanently. It was a pretty decent experience and being a meat eater myself, I was in second heaven! There is a couple of more Brazilian styles steakhouses in Niagara Falls now. I’ve not been to any of them, however. They are right dead centre in the Fallsview Tourist district of Niagara Falls and I am guessing that the price is prohibited. EDIT: I just looked up Brazilian steakhouses in Niagara Falls, and was surprised to see that there are a couple of them here now. I noticed that there is a Copacabana steakhouse, which is apparently associated to your Touro group. Interesting. I may have to go in and give them a try and see what it’s like, I know that it’s not the same owners as the original Copacabana that I went to back in the 1980/1990’s.

Neat video. Since you like to eat.......and I saw one time you went to Philadelphia, PA.... traveling to PA is not an issue for you. You may want to take another trip to PA and stop in East Earl, Pa to do a 24 hour Stealth Camper trip. Shady Maple is the biggest Smorgasbord in the USA. (closed Sundays). The second thing that stands out about this place, is it's top quality food. None of the food is overly salted like a lot of Smorgasbord's do. It's also interesting Amish country to tour. you've obviously never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse, those meats come fresh off the spit, rather than sit around to go cold with no idea as to how long it's been sitting there. if fresh cooked food annoys you, that makes you the weird one.

My go to Brazilian steakhouse is called Texas de Brazil. My personal favorite meats there are filet mignon and lamb chops.

The spicy sauce they put on your meat is called Peri Peri. It's a small, hot pepper.

You were lied to, that was not a sirloin in the very beginning. The server probably didn't know which cut it was. The cut is actually picanha, some claim it's the very best cut from a cow. Sadly most supermarkets and butchers don't carry it for reasons unknown.

I eat one meal per day. I eat dinner usually between 8-10 pm. I have gained weight significantly (to me at least) over the last few years. I weighed around 145-150 lbs in 2018. I now weigh 210 lbs (last weigh-in was in December). I do have a habit of snacking on chips or Oreos shortly before bed and I've heard that can cause weight gain. I may have to try this carnivore diet.

Personally I don't like the taste of meat. I like the taste of stuff combined with it. Like I can't just eat a burger I need lettuce and tomato, I can't just eat steak I need a1. On another note, I don't personally like places like this I went to one similar and saw a guy sneeze in the direction of the guy who's carrying the meat around and they continued to serve it. I'll never go back

I didn't have too much luck in dining in this steak house. Plenty to eat, servers are great but when I head home, I had an urge to go to the bathroom. Not too much ache, but I had to unload my stomach and I did it, all the food that I ate didn't stay in my stomach. I mentioned this to my other friends, and they too had the same problems. I didn't have a clue what happened. So, that would be my last visit to the Brazilian steak house.
