Glad to see the crew is exploring different cities now. What I would really like to see is Joe heading back over to the UK to go on a road trip and explore the food found outside of London. Americans may not realise it but London is absolutely a bubble of its own and doesn't represent the rest of the UK at all, it's a run of the mill international city. Rural northern towns, the west country, and the whole run of our coastlines have some exceptional regional cuisines that Londoner's have never even heard of. I'd love to see how Joe handles a steak and kidney pudding.

The US is similar, but due to media and tourism a lot of people think New York/LA, or any major city like Vegas, are representative of the US when they're really not. For example they did "Best Barbecue" but did it in LA which isn't known for that at all. Would of been better to go to Texas, Kansas, Tennessee, or the Carolinas.

Fun Fact......They are called Bangers because in the old days Butchers would add water to the Sausage meat to bulk it out (charge more but put in less). When you cook it the water would get hot and Bang!🇬🇧👍
@ijb75113 ай бұрын
More interesting fact "old days" means during WW2, when due to being in the front line of U-boat , was in short supply and often bulked out. It's the major reason British food has such a bad reputation with Americans. Thousands of U.S troops came from a country who joined the war late and had no rationing, it's not surprising that after 3 years of war and attacks on shipping British food was based purely on calorie count not taste.
