You read my mind, I've been procrastinating for many months, the more videos of artists creating beautiful artwork I watch, the more I self doubt myself. Thanks for this video.

This is the perfect video to watch if you are suffering from procrastinating all the time....like me. I tend to think, wait let me just mop the floors first or put washing in the machine first and with a blink of an eye the day has passed without me picking up a brush. You are so sweet - thank you!

I love your videos. They can be as much about philosophy as art at times, but that's no bad thing. I'm sure your thoughts resonate with many who watch your videos.

Merci de m’avoir rappelé a quel point on se sent bien quand on saute dans un projet. La confiance et la motivation reviennent et c’est merveilleux. Je vais ressortir toiles et pinceaux et commencer. ❤

I love that you share your highs and lows. I struggle with Motivation and the fear of starting a project as well. Fear of not being ready for it , not able to give it my all

Something that may help others that i use whenever I catch myself procrastinating for whatever reason is to set like a 2 or 5 min timer and do the thing that I've been procrastinating on. More often than not, when that timer goes off, I ignore it and keep working. Just remember, for whatever reason, if you do decide to pack up after the timer goes off. Take pride in the fact that you tried. We all have bad days and stresses that can impact our enthusiasm. If it helps, make a note and ask yourself why you struggled. It could help in finding out what the block could be. Hope this helps.

I have not been drawing/painting as consistently as usual lately. It may be the cold, dreary winter weather has sapped my creativity. Thanks for the pep talk.

Very inspiring and very true. Often it just needs a little time to get it into it (when you start doing it). Even if some parts of you, of your life doesn't seem quite right. You will make it somehow. Although, for me personally, stressing about it (being not creative) is nearly impossible to let go 😄 Despite it, i realised that i actually process new ideas at this time. Getting inspired. Let all what my creations gave me, sink in for now. It's as important then doing what you love or maybe need to do for living. Thank you Daniel, for bringing this message up ❤ P.s. I always wanted the covers for my books painted. So, to work with you some day would be a dream. Although, i don't know if you will paint faces or buildings/surroundings. But that is another topic i need to think about 😆

Hello my friend, I come from Germany and have been following you for a long time, great work you do. Do you paint on canvas? and how do you prime it? I also paint on canvas but don't get the realistic details like hair etc. optically like you do. Perhaps you have a few tips. Greetings from Germany.

They say if you can draw you can do anything. So I would like to know, can you actually draw or do you just trace and then render?
