This inquiry-based presentation is full of savvy tips on how to scan large objects like vehicles, small boats, or outdoor structures - with just one scanner. With Artec Leo as a webinar top-liner and Mercedes-Benz CLK 430 (www.artec3d.co...) and Mustang 1900R (www.artec3d.co...) loader scanned for illustration, you get a detailed guide on your entire workflow.
Learn how to subdivide your object into zones and plan your scanning trajectory, prepare any challenging areas for scanning (reflective surfaces, large featureless panels, parts hard to access - and more!), and adjust the settings to use your scanner’s full potential. Easily transfer your data for post-processing, and enjoy the ultra-realistic 3D model ready for reverse engineering, quality inspection, or any other applications.

I have scanned objects that are like 16ft and 22ft with Leo and Artec spider. They were not easy to scan and post process after scanning but I was amazed that it was possible anyway.

That is a large object for Space Spider! That is awesome to hear you can push the Artec scanners to that extent. Great job!

Great webinar, even thou I only own the Spider and Eva it is good to know what the other scanners can do and the results. Would the Eva give the same results as the Leo scanning a car? Thank you I am so looking forward to any other webinars.

Generally speaking, the result will be identical; the only difference may be that scanning with Eva will take longer (Leo is 30% faster).
