Where in this world can Toyota owners get this type of Toyota education and information. AMD is simply unbeatable. Toyota - You need to give AMD more awards and compensation to play fair. We get so much brand confidence and our brand loyalty is on steroids with each published video from this incredible channel.

Denso is an aftermarket brand that works well since it is the OEM brand without the Toyota Lexus branding attached to it. They are greatly available through most major auto parts retailers like Autozone, Oreilly, NAPA, etc....

Hey I owned two Fiat Panda’s. Great little cars. Simple parts and proven old designs. Better engineered for it. As opposed to GM cost cutting and overshooting to fake quality. Or unproven over engineered German cars. They are quite reliable and easy to fix. They are not on Toyota’s level but they are better than most I think. I now own a 2018 Avensis - my first Toyota. But a BMW engine :’(

Omar toyotas are amazing cars. I used to own gmc and car died at 145,000 miles. Bought a 2001 Toyota Highlander in 2001. Years later I got 475,000 miles on the car before it died. Have never gone back to American cars. You take good care of toyota and it will last forever...Goodluck

As this video is on parts, wanted to share a recent experience with my Lexus. Hit the side mirror while backing out of the garage and busted up the housing and the turn signal on the side mirror. Called all three Lexus dealerships and an average price for just the parts was $300 before taxes (not including labor, taxes, etc). Did some online searching using the needed p/n's and a Toyota dealer's online site showed the parts as being available. I believe they are part of a larger chain that involves Lexus dealerships as well. The prices for the parts were almost half ($175) that of the Lexus dealerships and I went ahead and did the repair myself after watching several KZbin videos for other Lexus models (couldn't find one for my exact generation and model year). The Lexus dealerships wanted anywhere from $500 - $600 installed with taxes. The Toyota dealership had a $5 pickup charge for online purchases and all in all walked out with the original Lexus parts (in a Lexus branded box) in hand for $195.

Just to be clear you found your parts for the Lexus cheaper on an online toyota dealership different from your local toyota dealership. You bought them and had them deliver to your local Toyota dealership and paid a $5.00 fee for online purchase?

I bought a A/C condenser for a Ford Ranger once, got a bunch of prices from all the local auto parts stores for whatever third party cheaper brand they were pushing, and decided to try the local dealer before buying, figured it would be much more expensive, but let me see how much....it was actually the cheapest price by a good margin. You never know, always shop around

God bless you Ahmed for keeping us Toyota owners in the know. It is funny that you pulled up Manhattan Beach Toyota in your video. This dealer is owned by former Denver Broncos quarterback, John Elway. About five years ago, MB Toyota had a set of TRD headers for my 2004 Tundra with 5VZ-FE engine. The Toyota list price for the headers was $1,100. MB Toyota was blowing them out as an "end of life cycle" part for $400 on Ebay. I snatched up that deal.

Over $75 at local Toyota dealer has free shipping. I believe it is the red text bar on top. Usually the code is freeship. I usually add oil filters or air filter to make it to 75 or drive to the dealership to pick up. Added 10 oil filter once

Hey Amd, this video saved me over $300 (standard retail) on the genuine parts I need to replace the front bearings, brake rotors, and stabilizer links on my 08 Prius. A lot of local dealers were not only not willing to match Olathe, but were also charging nearly $100 over MSRP on some of the parts. Cheers!

I've done this with my Nissan and Kia. You'd be surprised at the price difference, but you have to include shipping! What about tax? Remember, msrp "tax" at the local dealer will be higher than the lower cost part from the dealer selling that same part at the reduced part cost. Remember shipping cost? That's convenience! The part or parts are shipped to your door. So, are you just buying an oil filter and want to stay with OEM? Local dealer or aftermarket, your choice. Buying other parts as part of a maintenance repair? That's the time to buy filters! Include them in the order to be shipped to you. Don't need the filters now? You will soon enough! Buy 'em now, use 'em later! I've done this for years. Thank you AMD for this valuable Toyota info!

Last year, I have my front brakes and rotors done for my 2015 RX350 and Lexus wanted to charge me for more than $600, then I decided to go to Toyota dealership and gave me the part number which is identical to Lexus and was only charged for less than $400, probably cheaper. The good thing about the Lexus dealership we have here (40 minutes drive), they will pick up my vehicle and leave a loaner for a whole day or so to use regardless of service requests.

The mileage is out of basic ToyotaCare, so I wanted to check on basic maintenance items such as oil filters. I kept getting conflicting information on the correct Toyota PN or cross brands. Yes, it is available at Olathe Toyota (Olathe, Kansas), for a very good price, but if I needed it in a hurry, I can also get it a my local Walmart for about 2 Bucks more. Again, Thanks for this and the other wonderful information you provide on The Car Care Nut channel.

Awesome stuff. Thank you! You are 100% correct, automotive OEM’s have specifications that often exceed the part manufacturer’s specifications. It makes sense that easily accessible parts like brake pads are worth replacing with high end aftermarket for less than Toyota/Lexus parts. But less accessible parts that take hours and hours to replace should probably be replaced with Toyota/Lexus parts to reduce the risk of a failure and double work. How often have failures in Toyota/Lexus parts resulted in a comeback for you?
