During the Sinnoh Tour last year I was powering up fainted Pokémon to save on Revives. If you didn’t know, they get back a couple HP by doing that and then you just need Hyper Potions. Desperate times 🤣

I believe the legacy moves that will be available during December Com Day Recaps don't include the previous year's com day classic, so Charizard won't be able to get Blast Burn

Correct, starting on Monday the 18th. They actually won’t be in raids on Tuesday or Wednesday, but will have their own days (Thursday for Dialga) (Friday for Palkia) and both will be in raids again over the Wild Area weekend (Nov 23/24).

I read your other comments saying you're mistaken, but this isn't the first video I've seen from you where you say something like this, I believe the other was in reference to Metagross getting Meteor Mash in December's com day. How do legacy moves work? I thought they were only obtainable when they were the featured pokemon for that com day. Are you saying that you can evolve anything during the com day and they can get back-dated to their com day an obtain that legacy move?

It’s extra confusing when I’m wrong about Charizard 🤦🏻 Not at all a silly question - Niantic purposefully makes this information vague because they’d like people to purchase Elite TMs. December 21-22 will be the Community Day roundup for 2024. During that time, all the Pokémon from the 2023 Community Days (excluding Community Day ‘Classics,’ as I now understand) and all the Pokémon from the 2024 Community Days (including the Community Day Classics), will feature in some way, be it in the wild, in eggs, or in raids. Every Pokémon that gets a Community Day gets a special move. Some call them signature moves, legacy moves, com day moves, etc. During that December weekend, those special moves will be obtainable when evolving or catching the Pokémon in question. A good example is from the Halloween week we just had. Rowlet (January 2024) and Froakie (summer 2023) had regular Community Days. If you evolve either of them to their final stages during the December Community Day Roundup, they’ll learn their com day moves (Decidueye: Frenzy Plant) (Greninja: Hydro Cannon). There are other opportunities to do this as well. Next week, during the Wild Area, there will be a handful of Pokémon eligible to learn their special moves. I’ll list them out in my video for next week. The only other way to get the special moves on to Pokémon is to use Elite TMs, which are a premium item you can earn through GBL, or buy as part of a bundle during any Community Day.

The Com Day Classic in January will be a repeat of some past regular Com Day, and yes, we’ll be able to get whatever Pokémon is featured with their special move. Then in December of 2025, we’ll be able to get it again during that year’s round up. So if you find another one of that Pokémon sometime throughout the year, you’ll know you can hold off until December, at worst. Last year, Sinnoh Tour and Go Fest both included a few Pokémon we could evolve to get their moves, so opportunities do come up throughout the year. I pretty much always wait it out. The only time I feel alright using an Elite TM is on a Legendary Pokémon, and even then I’ve only done a few. It’s definitely a money grab. If you play enough GBL durum a season to reach Level 20, you’ll get an Elite Charged and Elite Fast TM for that. It’s just based on wins, so you could lose a ton and still make it to 20. There’s also an event each season that rewards an Elite Charged TM just for playing in GBL. Easily achieved during the 2 day event.

Hey sean just watched your gigantamax videos. Thank you for empathizing that this game prey on impatience. I work on a ship currently and I'm on schedule to go home next week before Wild Area until sh*t happens. My schedule been move to the 29. I don't know what to do now bought the ticket(wild area) a month ago. I'm a returning player and I really enjoy playing but I think for us working on a ship this game is not for us. That's why I just want to buy consoles games cause GO is a hard game to play if you cannot play during events like this. I'm very sad that I don't have the chance to raid the primal forms.😢 Still thank you for videos it helps me a lot and other people too.

That’s a bummer, sorry to hear you’re missing out on something you wanted to do, especially something already paid for. Tickets can be purchased up until the end of events usually, so it’s definitely worth waiting until the day of to buy. With my kiddo now basically giving up naps, it can feel like I’m out at sea 😵‍💫 I miss out on a lot, but in the relatively short time I’ve been I’ve seen most things come back. I set myself some hard rules (like no remote raiding) and it makes it easier to just accept what I won’t be able to make work. I should definitely stick to console games myself, and by that I mean something that isn’t live service, but man… Go has its hooks in me. I need to tighten up my boundaries with it.

Forgot to mention, If you’re able to remote raid, the primal energy can be obtained through remotes. You may need to do 5 or 6 of each, which is certainly pricy, but take that for what it is.

@@PokeeSeanGO yeah heard your little one on the Background before. My friends want to use my account but I want to experience it myself like the other go fest (2017-2020). I spend money only for remote raiding like the mega evolutions that's my priority after I do one I just walk it as my buddy for the extra. For legendary I will only spend if I don't have one yet for the dex entry so that I can mirror trade with somebody in the future. Thank you for not defending Niantic cause as a player this company doesn't or sometimes listen to player feedback. I played a lot of mobile games wuthering waves, clash of clan, genshin impact, honkai star rail, etc. All of the above games listen to its player base most of the time. I hope Niantic will improve on their communication.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if The Pokémon Company has final say on every little thing, which would slow down changes and development in general. Being involved with Nintendo, a company notorious for over- managing how their games are made and played, I imagine has a lot to do with how slow they are to address feedback. Not to defend Niantic :P I’m just in deep with Nintendo stuff in general, and that’s a company that protects its IP and revenue streams with extreme aggression.
