I love my R600. I'm using it as a UPS battery backup for my home security system. I'm running a bunch of Ring battery powered wifi cameras and motion lights. So even if a advanced home intruder cuts my power from outside before a break in attempt. All of my battery powered Ring security cameras and motion spotlights will remain online and continue providing live motion alerts and live footage to my phone while I open my safe and grab my M&P12. It powers my dual wifi router setup. It hides in the closet and is very quiet.

You can run the heater by selecting extreme power on the phone app and it will regulate the power to the heater to not exceed and shut down.

Here's the problem with your test. When you do an AC discharge test you should always do a 1C (C is total capacity of the unit)discharge test or around 300w or as close as possible. The problem is you were drawing 15w but the problem is the inverter is using power as well. So you might have gotten 155wh of draw but 120wh was lost just from the inverter on so long. If you discharge it at 1C it will be a more accurate test as the losses from the inverter will be minimal as it will be on for less of a time. Try this. Charge the unit to 100% and just leave the inverter on overnight or say 10 hours. Then you can calculate how much is lost per hour that the inverter is sitting there idle. Great review. Just bought this unit and am torturing....er I mean testing it. Cheers.

Great review Kevin. I've been researching power stations along with solar panels as I''m looking for a portable power station that can be used as an emergency backup to my furnace during a hydro outage. Obviously I would be looking for a substantially more powerful station for that, but All Powers wasn't on my radar as a product to research but it is now. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Winter8R1. I did a review of a Bluetti a few years ago and it has really come in handy during power outages. The R600 is too small for a whole house application but this review has got me thinking about a bigger system too. I have already started looking at the All Powers 1500 model. It has expandable slots to tie in two additional batteries. (and they and other companies make bigger systems too). So much to learn about. :)

I agree. Another system that seems pretty solid is the VTOMAN 1500 or 1800 - both have expandable battery options and a solar panel option

Excellent review, i am also concerned about app, i assume the unit functions well without ever having to download app is that correct and does the unit itself require any online updates at some stage?
@KevinOutdoors20 күн бұрын
No it doesn't require any updates.

Homesick seeing that sunny snowy day ☀️🎿 I live in a place with a rainy winter now and no one believes me I'm colder here at 1° and rain then I ever was at -15° and sun!
