I’m currently transitioning and I’d like to know if there is a difference between deep conditioning at the begin of the process or doing it after you apply the shampoo. Also, when you washed your hair did you apply a normal conditioner after the shampoo? Thanksx

Lindela Malambe yes there is a difference. When you deep conditioning before you shampoo you do risk the product sitting on top of your hair strands if you have product build up. After you shampoo, your hair is obviously clean so the product will be more effective but I’ve found that shampooing my hair without pre- pooing really strips it and leaves it incredibly dry so I hardly ever shampoo first unless my hair has a tonne of product build up. After I rinsed out the deep conditioner I co- washed my hair (I did not feel my hair needed shampoo) then went on to do the LOC method that you see on camera.
