@@AllAgesofGeek The lore behind him is...really good and sad. He was the captian of Overwatch, but with a heated dispute with Reaper Overwatch was destroyed and disbanded. This is at least the cut up version on it and I could be wrong on a few things. Soldier's real name is...or was Captian Morrison.

His name is Jack Morrison (aka Soldier 76) and he was the Strike Commander of Overwatch prior to it being disbanded. He was presumed dead by everyone when Overwatch HQ exploded (it's also presumed he was involved in the explosion itself on a fight with his former comrade and friend Gabriel Reyes (aka Reaper aka the Smoke/ghost guy from some of the other cinematic trailers)).

Something often overlooked. Watch soldier76's face when he tosses the coin bag back to her and she looks up at him like hes a hero. You'll notice everrrrr so slightly through his mask that he raises his eyebrow. He literally couldn't handle someone looking at him like hes a hero after all he went through.

Soldier: 76 (Jack Morrison) is basically if Captain America became the Punisher. He's a ghost of the man he used to be and has resorted to extreme violence to find the answers to why Overwatch was destroyed from within. Though he is still a good man at heart, his quest for the truth sometimes compromises him.

His code name is Soldier 76, though his true identity is Jack Morrison. He was one of the former founders of Overwatch that helped end the original "Omnic Crisis". In the end though unfortunately, he had a quarrel with Gabriel Reyes AKA Reaper (Reaper was the hooded figure you saw in "Recall" reaction, the two used to Brothers in Arms) and in the aftermath of the fight he faked his death. Honestly the backstory behind each character, you can write a whole book. This is just a brief description, loved your reaction!!

He was also the leader of Overwatch and calls himself a vigilante in order to find the reasons for Overwatch's collapse. Reaper. Aka soldier 24. Aka Gabriel Reyes was the leader of Blackwatch. Overwatch's underground team. Wants to take revenge on Morrisson because he wanted to be leader. Wspecially as he commanded more missions during the Omnic Crisis. Both have been signed off as dead. Yes! Moar Overwatch reactions! I first found this channel from your "Dragons" reaction and proceeded to watch all your God of War videos in 2 days. There are a lot of "characters" on KZbin, and while I'd say you're definitely a character in your mannerisms and with your voices (like in a "Oh, shes such a character" complimentary way) , everything about you comes off as genuine and honest. So I'm probably gonna butcher this, but, worth a shot. So the lore of Solider 76 was that he was once known as Jack Morison, the commander/leader of Overwatch. He's pretty much the ultimate super solider after being put through an extensive series of experiments and had a pretty good run as commander, saving lives and such until Overwatch's black ops group, aptly named Blackwatch got caught doing something they shouldn't have been doing. Overwatch was made into the bad guys in the eyes of the public, eventually disbanded and their home base was destroyed as a result of a bombing. While few survived Commander Morison was presumed dead but he actually survived, went rogue under the alias Solider 76 and is now working alone in order to quell crime waves and evil doings. Again I could have butchered that to heck, if someone actually has the full story, please correct me.

In case you haven't already, Miscat, you should definitely watch/react to the Overwatch Cinematic Trailer? It's basically the first of this series of trailers and gives a little more background about OW and the world at the time of the game. As an example, even if you wouldn't know all the specifics you'd have more of a feeling about the significance of the poster and Soldier's last line if you had seen it before this. I'm happy to be watching these again with another person arriving late to Overwatch (I'm only a few months ahead of you)... good job so far and keep it up! ^_^/
