The beauty of islam. It’s heavy on community and social responsibilities, but it is also a very personal and intimate religion. Uncompromising in the core belief and concept but celebrates diversity in practice. This is why Islam is applicable for all of humanity despite different cultures and language.

I am glad you brought up the Islamic inheritance law. This gives me an opportunity to pose as a proxy question. Regarding the idea of the communitarian ethics (in terms of family) superseding the individuality of a human being, I understand that and it makes sense to me. However, I can see a growing sense of resentment and cynicism towards the idea of these asymmetrical set ups by Allah in terms of gender from women and even some Muslim women as a consequence of their dwindling trust towards men in general. I was able to trace this pattern in their parlance and innuendos and what some of what their pretexts implies. While I understand that some men (although some women would argue that it is MOST men) do not uphold their responsibility as a man (and as a consequence, taints the already-weakened reputation of men), those Muslim women who have personally experienced such scenarios (and Muslim women say A LOT of women go through that) would, as a visceral reaction, gravitate towards a individualistic lifestyle and would preach this individualistic 'religion' to other young girls. I can see that oppression is giving birth to more oppression. How does Sharia deal with these scenarios?
