I love your wellness and health content! They’re the videos I keep rewatching months after you’ve posted. I hope you have a morning routine/vlog in the works - when I’m up at 5am I enjoy watching them and feeling like a friend is going through it with me ❤

I signed up with DIY body last year after watching your first few videos. Honestly, it was the best thing I did for myself. In the 16 week program, I was able to build foundational skills that reallllllly helped. I extended my program and lost 30 lbs in 6 months! I extended the program again but currently on a pause as I am preggo and had to pause due to some health complications BUT I am so stoked to get back into it once the little babe is here. The coaches are so dedicated and encouraging. I am soooo glad that you shared this with us as it's made a huge change in my life! 🙏🏻🥰

I joined DIYBody too after watching Allana's first few videos on the program. It has been life changing. I will be coming up on the two-year mark with DIYBody in March. I cannot express how much the program has improved my understanding of how to fuel my body for performance and building muscle. I have recommended DIYBody to SO many family and friends. For those who are questioning if they should sign up for the 16-week program - do it. The knowledge and confidence I have gained while working with Clara (one of DIYBody's amazing trainers) has been invaluable.

Hi! Thanks for the video. It would be super interesting if you could talk a bit about your routine at some point. I gathered that you wake up at 5 AM, I’d love to hear more about how this particular routine came to work for you. Have you always been a morning person? How do you maintain this schedule during the darker winter months, when there’s no light for hours? Also, how do you balance this routine with social gatherings, like meeting up with friends, and then transitioning back to it on weekdays?

Personal hack for dry chicken - after I cook it on the pan and it’s almost done, I’ll add in some water (just a smidge) and cover it so it can steam the rest of the way and it rehydrates and comes out not dry!

A suggestion after working with a dietician last year I learned one of the best habits for healthy gut microbiome (and therefore healthy digestion) is VARIETY. So even if your choices are wonderful for each meal, I encourage you to vary it up add different veggies add different spices. The more variation the happier your gut (as long as the variation is still focused on healthy foods that is). Hope it helps and great job!!!
@khyatiurfmaya6 күн бұрын
idk why people come up with these advices cause everyone's body is different? I know a person who eats strictly carnivorous diet, minimum seasoning, oil/butter etc. Nothing else, just meat..no vegetables, no carbs nothing. And that's what's worked for him. FOR YEARS. And boy does his skin glow.
@audreybutler-226 күн бұрын
It's an objective fact. There are a ton of studies about how variety of food in the human diet is beneficial for the microbiome.

In regards to dry chicken, just put them in a brine. Combine equal parts salt and sugar in a big bowl of water and place chicken in there for a minimum of 15 minutes. Then go ahead and rinse and dry then proceed to cook. They turn out so juicy and this is how restaurants cook chicken. You genuinely can’t overcook it now.

I had a transformation like yours back in 2016, kept it up for 4-5 years with some changes and gained more muscle and found an absolutely perfect balance... Then I got an undiagnosed, horrible pain. Then I developed chronic pain from that, so it's all fallen apart and I have periods every now and again when I can try again for a while so that's what I'm doing today andddd I'm excited to watch your video to get in the right mood whilst I make my breakfast! Just found your channel 🙌🏻

Sharing a delicious sauce recipe I think you would love, esp on your lentil bowls: Mix .5 cup tahini with 2 tbsp Greek yogurt, 1-2 tbsp soy sauce, and the juice of 1/2 a lemon, salt & pepper to taste & add 1 tbsp room temp water at a time until it’s a nice drizzle-able consistency. This is honestly one of the best sauces I’ve ever had, I literally eat it with a spoon & if you are really loving the kefir I’d say it would be a good sub to the Greek yogurt!

Allana, if you never want to eat dry chicken again, trust me the secret is SALT and TIME. I salt chicken breast as soon as I get back from the store and just pull fillets out as and when I need them. You’re still free to cook them with whatever method and flavours you want. If you’re wanting to use it the same day you buy it, make sure to leave it for at least 30 min. I churn through chicken breast so this is my passion lol

thank you for sharing!!! Love the healthy updates. I wanted to say - my chicken always used to turn out dry too, but dry salt brining has changed my life lol - Take chicken breasts and sprinkle a copious amount of salt on them, leave them in the fridge for 45 mins to a day and then cook as you want. Its always well seasoned, and the salt helps it to retain the moisture so it's always moist! I just panfry with garlic and it's delicious.

We meal prep the exact same way - warm bowls for life! 🙌 Don’t sleep on the Kirkland Organic Guacamole cups when avocados are out of season. They're pre-portioned, super convenient, and you can easily adjust the serving size (1/2 to a full serving) to fit your macros. The flavor is perfect - you get that avocado goodness, but it's not so overpowering that you can't add it to any meal, even non-burrito bowls. Plus, since they’re individually sealed, they stay fresh and have an amazing shelf life. I always go for fresh, in-season produce first, but these are such a lifesaver during the off-season! Sending lots of love to you both and Meryl! ❤
