I recently decided 2025 was going to be the best year of my life (at least in regard to how I show up in my own life). I’m very into hot yoga, but I’ve always wanted to be a runner, so I started training for a 10k, colored my hair the way I’ve been wanting to, found a perfume I love, and am trying to incorporate little things to look and feel my best 💕✨

My hubby definitely is not on my level so its always a balance for us. Would love to hear you chat about discipline when it comes to friends/family pressuring you to "relax" (lol) and eat whatever they're eating etc.

Having done the program with the same company (x2) because of Allana’s experience, I can honestly say it is *not* meant for those who have been affected by body dysmorphia, disordered eating or ED’s any way - they don’t accommodate people who cannot track food. They also used my private DMs and photos on their pages to promote their company which I explicitly did not give them permission to do. Just a heads up for anyone considering it. I saw results but felt like crap about myself internally because they just care to use you to promote their company.

Allana! Ok I watched this at like 1:30 am cause I couldn’t sleep, but then I was so pumped after watching I definitely couldn’t sleep. This is PERFECT!! You’re doing so great! Better than great. I love this so much. It’s a really healthy mindset, realistic, really well balanced, not obsessive, perfect cardio plan, love the progressive overload, compound movements, heavy lifting…I could go on and on. Your future self is going to be soooo dang happy you are doing this. This is exactly what I’d recommend to all women. Lift heavy, compound movements and focus on muscle mass. Don’t be a cardio queen. Walking is amazing every day, and interval sprints a few times a week are the most time efficient total body effective cardio you can do I think. Rowing is also fantastic, and those airdyne hell bikes with the arms. SLEEP yessss I’m so happy you said that. And the outdoors and tennis is also so good. You’re killing it! This is what women need for their hormones, their bones, their composition, their brains, their future menopause selves need this exact thing too. I’m getting all amped again. You’re doing mobility too right? That’s the only thing you didn’t mention but I think you do that too. Yeah you!! 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️ I’m so happy for you. You have such a sensible approach to it all, and I just love it. 😃

i'm slowly trying to get back into working out, and not being hard on myself for NOT working out like i used to when i was punishing myself with it/trying to "earn" my next meal. depression makes this ssssssoooo difficult. but i've found weightlifting feels really exciting to me. i love feeling powerful and really feeling that mind/body connection. i'm also planning to incorporate swimming and yoga into my routine. i'm trying to look at it like taking care of myself rather than exercising to look good. hopefully that comes as a side effect of being consistent, but if nothing else, i know it's taking care of inner child/adult me :)

And some forearm planks for all that core work. Can’t wait to follow along, get the updates as Lanmas progresses! ♥️

Yeeeaaah ! Love to see this ! Controversial opinion but i would love if you would go into more details about your meal plan (number of calories, if you did or plan to do a reverse diet, your macro etc).
@jacklynmf6116 күн бұрын
I don't think it would be a good idea to show calories. Calories consumed is very specific to each person and you should consult a trainer or a healthcare professional on what your calories should be. Seeing someone post their calories can be triggering to some but also can lead to unattainable expectations.
@erinleighpil16 күн бұрын
@annedemongeot4582 I agree and would love to see pictures/portions of meals and what is eaten from the plate. I really enjoy watching videos to help get a realistic take on portion sizes. I know it can be triggering for some, so maybe it's something that could have a trigger warning up front. For many of us though, I think it is really helpful to have comparisons.
@cecilang972116 күн бұрын
Here in the USA there is an obesity epidemic. When a person concentrates on health, full holistic health, exercise AND nutrition and calories are an important part. She should share her plan and not hold back from sharing something that can be helpful to so many people. Maybe a trigger warning? But she will also show her meals, talk about her weight, I mean where do you draw the line about not sharing your LIFE because somebody might be triggered by your existence and your goals? That’s unfair to guilt someone about.
@sarahkelly409516 күн бұрын
@@jacklynmf61completely agree. I’m a nutritionist and am all for healthy eating, but no one would benefit from knowing how many calories anyone else eats! I also am sure Alanna is making good choices about nourishing herself for her fitness goals but it’s a super slippery slope to start looking to non-professionals for serious health/diet information. For me, seeing the basics of what she does re: exercise and meal prep works because it’s inspirational and might get someone else excited to go to the gym or put more effort into meals, but anything beyond that it’s just not fair to ask her to provide health guidance when that isn’t her field and you can’t really offer much advice at a mass level anyways (that’s why we have personal trainers and nutritionists working with individual clients!)

I thought Id lose all the muscle and was so anxious and mad at myself for that😂 Now I have realized that having breaks don't make your muscles smaller, your strength can go down SLIGHTLY but its okay and youll build the strength back up with like 2 workouts🥲👻

Do you feel ✨energized✨ or exhausted🥱 when you tick everything off the Hot Girl Winter protocol? You're doing *double workouts* strength and cardio 3 days a week and hitting 10-15k steps per day. I do 4x weightlifting, 1-2x cardio, 1-2 rest days and 10-12k daily steps. The steps take 1.5-2 hours, so I am basically dedicating 2-3.5 hours to Hot Girl Winter daily. With your double workouts you must be doing 3-5 hours of Hot Girl Winter 3 days a week! 🤯On a caloric deficit! Super impressive. Personally if I do any more than what I am doing, I feel burnt out and exhausted. 😪So I'm curious to know if you actually feel energized when you tick everything off 💪
@jacklynmf6116 күн бұрын
If you are starting to feel exhausted, you could do a reload week with decreasing the weight and cardio for a bit, give your body a break while still on the same meals.
@sarahkelly409516 күн бұрын
Yeah this was my question too-at a calorie deficit a LOT of people won’t be able to build muscle (I’m a nutritionist and it’s wild to me how often the solution to active women who feel tired and aren’t making progress at the gym is to eat MORE calories not less.). Obviously this is very individual and the best way to gage what is working is how you feel and how your workouts are going, but I am a bit nervous that folks will see what works for Alana and then try to do the same thing for themselves when it’s not what their bodies need.
@vinccimoraless16 күн бұрын
@@jacklynmf61 If I'm on a deficit, I do a refeed day and that addresses exhaustion. But I didn't say that I was exhausted! If I did *more* I would be but not right now 😉 I do deloads every 6 weeks - always.

@@sarahkelly4095 Hi! I don't think that that should be Allana's responsibility 😊 If a person takes information from someone on the internet and applies it to their own lives without additional research or without checking in with a professional, that should be on the person and not on the creator. She has said multiple times that she is not a doctor nor a professional, so if someone copies exactly what she is doing, surely they should be aware and conscious of the fact that they're copying a random person on the internet? 😅

My HGW is very different-I have some inflammatory arthritis issues so intense/long workouts daily, let alone weekly, can make me feel very unwell. But I love following along as it’s a reminder to focus on being consistent with what I am doing and making sure I take a daily stationary cycle break as I wfh in a cold climate (sadly outdoor walks are mostly out!). Also remembering to keep up with lots of yoga and stretching since I get really stiff from the cold, and eating lots of Whole Foods!
@kuzmanator16 күн бұрын
Consult with your doctor or physical therapist but I believe that strength training (in any form, doesn't have to be intense) is actually good for arthritis. Plus it's something that can be done inside this winter. Worth looking in to, I can image that it's really painful though I'm sorry you're dealing with that.
@kkmarzipan16 күн бұрын
Yes, I have been doing strength training which is helping! It’s a fine line between “movement feels good” and “too much movement is causing inflammation”, so I have to be careful, but the ongoing effects are beneficial.

I still had the power and strength to lift where I left off….but damn did I pay for it for the next two days. I took an hours long soak in the tub with epsom salt(refreshing hot water as needed) and took magnesium to help. I just stayed in the bed all day and slept….I couldn’t even find the motivation to get up for a light stroll. I did crush a workout and sauna today! It’s no joke…sleep really does wonders but I don’t want to be out of commission for days and lose my momentum And also what supplements are you taking now?
