Crazy, how ONE song, can make you feel SO MUCH.. YOU feel so deeply, that you can confirm, FINALLY, that yes, you ARE STILL, VERY much alive .. This is one of those songs that awakens your dormant soul, a soul you thought was long gone. Clears the cobwebs from your eyes, allowing u to SEE, just how lucky u really are in life. It opens your ability to hear the world that you've gone deaf too.. it may be "just a song" to many here, but for the rest of us, it was a life changing moment of pure intent, intended for us to hear it at just the right moment. THANK YOU AARON, for your love of music, America, and family, is a true inspiration! 💕❤

Wow im sorry to hear about your husband, this song reminds me of my brother Bryan who passed away in 2011 forever in my mind, the memory never fades, and every time I hear this song it makes me want to break down, and disappear, yet I cant help but listen to it over and over and over. There is a multitude of songs by aaron lewis that bring back the memories of my brother, we used to play guitar and sing quite a few of his songs, I rarely play anymore. Truth is when he passed for awhile I was completely lost, and because it was a suicide I hated myself for not reaching out more. All I can think is the countless things I never told him, all the things I can never tell him. I remember leaning over his casket and dying inside, it changes your entire perspective, everything in the world takes on either a new light or is forever concealed by shadow, unfortunately I chose to dwell on the negative and have forever shamed the memory of the most amazing brother anyone could ever ask for. Bryan if you are in heaven and can see me now, I hope i make you proud. I hope you soar with the angels, I hope you finally found the peace that forever eluded you and im sorry, so sorry that felt it had to be this way, but we will always love you and you will always be with us.

Yes sir, you are welcome! I dealt with depression for many years, after finally getting on an anti-depressant that worked, it changed the way I saw everything.

Life is tough, but you are tougher. This is what your parents raised you to be prepared for. So you can take flight when they are gone. Live your life, be successful, be happy, and be proud. One day you will see them again and have so much to tell them.

I just lost my mom to cancer and I have been lost without her. but listening to this song helps me understand why all these years of trying to make me mom proud and live my life the way she raised me its been worth it and I will continue you to make her proud and live the way she raised me. then when I'm gone I will not look back and regret my life.

I'm 47 years old, living in an airbnb. I own the series of bad choices that have brought me to this sad chapter of my my ever changing life. I find myself grateful for everything and angry about nothing. I ask nothing of my friends but how I can be a blessing to them, and I stop and give children my undivided attention when they speak to me. Feels so strange, and it's taken so long.
