Awesome tutorial on how to embroider with Scan N Cut!👍 That said, Brother devices are the worst when it comes to registration. Brothers makes it so ridiculous for end users to go through codes and PIN numbers. Bluetooth or WiFi devices, when connecting to software, should automatically register without any extra steps. But Brother does not make it easy!

That is adorable. Looks so good on the blue tea towel. Could you have eliminated the bottom (chick) yellow satin stitch or the top (egg) pink satin stitch to reduce bulk/overlap in that area? You said you should have done it differently. Love your enthusiasm to teach us!! Thanks for the great tutorials

Hi Courtney, I wanted to know if you ever made patches and then used your Brother Scan n Cut to cut them out? I was watching a video where this lady had made a couple of patches, but struggled a little bit to get them cleaned up in a couple of areas. So I thought that just maybe after embroiderying a patch this would be a good way to clean them up. Thanks, Ann.

oh how I wish Brother would allow My connection to work with my 230DX Scan n cut. My Scan n Cut works perfectly and it seems a waste of money to upgrade to a 300 series right now. I can't fully access the upgrade feature on my StellaireXE1 that allows us to turn stitches into applique.

Courtney does it make a difference if you size in the first size screen or in the edit screen?

I tried to do exactly as you have done with same design and everything, when I go to my luminaire3 and into design center I only get where it says cutting outlines but the design is not there, I have restarted both machines, they are on the same network but it still does not show up, any suggestions?

Hi… this is not related to this particular video, but I hope you can help me. I have a PDF pattern, which I have cut out and scanned using the Scan to Canvas Workspace feature. My problem is now that I have imported the scan into my CW, I don’t know how to remove all of the text etc. that also got scanned. Can you help me with that, please?

just paid 1000.00 for a new embroider machine and it does not have wireless so can not make this one sad face I wish I knew this machine didn't have wireless connections I would have save a little longer and waited to buy a machine with wireless had fun watching the video even I could not make this one

Bedankt voor deze tutorial daarmee heb ik mijn machines kunnen koppelen. Ik kom uit Holland dus kan je echt niet verstaan je praat ook zo snel maar het is me gelukt. Alleen snap ik niet goed wat je op de stof hebt geplakt kun je dat laten zien of uitleggen? Groetjes uit Holland van Tony
