Here's a Vegan version of the much loved Alle Belle - Goan Pancake. Being an egg-free and a dairy-free version, everyone can enjoy this beautiful treat.
I've also included a little tip on how to get it to taste just like the original, even if you don't have access to Goa Jaggery. Enjoy!

I am so thankful for your videos! I started with your Christmas sweets videos as a young Goan bride. And recently having turned vegan, I was in despair wondering how to cook our family favourites. But this year, I have a vegan alternative for Alle belle on Pancake Tuesday! Beyond thrilled! I am curious though, and would love to know what inspired you to turn vegan? Maybe we could have a video on that too😃 For me, it was a health scare and brush with cancer. That's when I read about veganism and it blew my mind, and eating vegan has been healing in so many ways! And yes, omg! It's Joggery FTW!

We have always called it "joggery" but a lot of folks ridicule that pronunciation. Glad to know that someone other than my family says it that way too. 😊

That's the best option Surekha. If youre using Goan jaggery, you don't need the molasses. Hope this helps.

For the crepe batter, you can. It will just have a slight coconutty flavour.
