Emma at the bookshelf with the multiple ear/wig changes is a vibe. Great way to keep the viewer engaged while dishing out useful information! I would argue that longer vacations also benefit from park hoppers especially if you didn’t complete your must dos on your full park day.

I always use park hopper. I go to a main park in the morning. Ride everything before anyone else gets there, hop to Epcot for food and wine. Go the hotel for a nap. Hop to a different park or whatever park I want in the evening.

One other point I don’t usually hear much about-I think park hopping is harder when you use genie+ due to some late return times.

I love park hopper, especially once you've gotten familiar with the parks and types of attractions you want to experience. Its also helpful to get away from crowds if one park wait times are too high.

I second this. I do 7 day trips, and PH comes down to way less per day (napkin math is each ticket was 120 extra. over 7 days that is only an extra 17.00/day). That gives me the full flex to do all the parks or not and move as needed.

Big Reason to Park HOP - Disney has many days where it closes a park for a special event. If you aren't paying for the special event, you might want to leave the closing park and head to another one to feel like you are getting your money's worth. Another reason is touring style. I love to experience the parks early morning and late night. So I can do that by touring one park in the morning on one day, and the same park on the evening of another day. Also, we tend to tour mornings, go back to the hotel to rest a couple of hours, and return for the evenings. This makes going to a different park much easier sometimes (example: Return from AK morning by bus, but Skyliner to Epcot for dinner and evening tour). Hope this helps!

When my daughter was younger and in a stroller, it was just too much to try to park hop, but now that she is much older we love park hopping-especially when the Skyliner is running and we can easily get to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. We would go to the Petting Zoo/see a show/play the Boneyard at Animal Kingdom, eat some festival foods/meet characters at EPCOT and ride some rides and end the night watching Fantasmic at HS.

Park Hopping is a must for me. Doesn't matter if I'm there for 3 days or 7, I have a PH or AP (just depends on the year). I've been going since there were only two parks and have never, well once on accident, spent all day in one park. Planned to hop the accidental day but my son and his spouse wanted to look at DVC on a lark and that took up about 4 hours and by that time we were tired, were staying at BW so just ran back into Epcot for some food and called it a day.

In 2017, i think we paid about $750 for 5 days at Parks with Park Hopper/Water parks. That was MILITARY TICKETS for 3 Adults. My son was 9mths old so he didn't Require a Ticket

I love a park hopper : especially with the restrictions lifted sometimes I want to wake up early and go ride some things my family doesn’t care about before heading to another park OR leave a busy crazy park for a less crowded one

Excellent, fun video, Emma. For us, park hopping is worth it. We usually stay 10 days and like the flexibility of hopping around. The cost for a 10 day stay isn’t that much per day. We like to stay at the Epcot resorts and like the option of going to MK and then taking the monorail to Epcot with a leisurely walk through the park and back to the hotel. Even if we don’t spend a lot of time at Epcot, it’s a different route back to the resort. It also gives flexibility in seeing the night shows if the weather is bad on your designated park for that day.

I always do park hopper because contingency is key for me. I like knowing that if Fantasmic gets rained out or has technical difficulties, I can hop back there after another park.

Huge point to clarify. Adding water park plus means you get as many days of water park as your ticket on top of the regular park day. 1 park hopper plus means 2 days total in the parks. HUGE PERK if buying park hopper and it maximizes your experience. Esp on hot days!

Hey Emma, just a tip I figured out on opening the Welch's fruit snacks. The small cut to open the package easily is always near the Apostrophe ' in the word Welch's. Once I noticed that it always made it easy to find. Hope you enjoy your Welch's with ease now, we always do!!! :D

Park hopper is for me depending on what I'm trying to do. When I go to a theme park, I only care about rides and prioritize them over everything else. I don't care about shows, parades, or meet and greets. I'm the thrill-seeking type she mentioned. I'm planning on going to epcot soon, but there's only a handful of rides that I wanna go on and plan to park hop to hollywood studios in the afternoon.

We buy the military salute tickets that are greatly discounted. They come with the parkhopper. That's the only reason we get park hoppers. I wouldn't pay full price.

Curious to know which park hopping combo you guys think is the easiest and which one do you think is the hardest? I feel like AK and HS are perfect combo for a thrill seeker like me. And I feel park hopping MK and Epcot in one day may be the hardest because there’s so much to do at both those places

For me, the key is to focus on one or 2 attractions per park and then hopping over. Also, knowing when to enter a queue based on time of day. Like Avatar Flight of passage at AK is busiest in the mornings but not as much near the evenings, same for Seven Dwarves mine train at MK. If you are staying on property you can also take advantage of early entry, and if at a deluxe or villa resort -you get the extra magic hours.

Yes, but you will also split your ticket in two and therefore do not get the discounted day prices for multiday tickets. You will start with a day one ticket for the second half of the trip and add days to that.

Or you can add all days of your trip onto your first stay as a base ticket. Then for the second stay, you book a room only or basic pkg with no tickets. Attend the park for a few base days and then upgrade any remaining days to park hopper days at any ticket booth. Ex: Book a pkg with 4base ticket, attend 2 base days and upgrade remaining 2days to park hopper.

@@TheChad1980 hello! You absolutely can upgrade a partially used ticket as long as there are unused days remaining, and it is not a special promo ticket that has restrictions! All you have to do is goto the ticket booth and ask about upgrade options for your ticket. Also, you will be charged the difference of the remaining days. Ex: 5base that you used 3 days , you will only be charged for 2days of the upgrade level, water park & sports, park hooper, or park hopper plus. This works for Disneyworld, but only for partially used tickets. Unsed tickets must be upgraded for all days.
