I think it's also about the victory. The track record of winning so many cases or how difficult it was when everyone thought the criminal would go to jail but they win and walk free. So some ego thing goes on there. Like a skills test. They probably don't connect to the clients or the situation as much as we think. Emotions aside, work is work.
