Makes no sense 3 people gave a thumbs down? Allen Hinds is a great stylist and musician and guitarist. Some of the best sound I have ever heard, coming from a Live Baked Potato Video. Please keep going Allen Hinds and keep great musicianship alive and well. jamiepalumbo.com

There are lots of vids where he talks about his gear and plays with volume off so you can get the vibe of his touch. Search for "Allen Hinds Xotic" and you will find most of them. He is one of my favorite players. There is also a video chopped into 4-5 parts - I think it's called "Xotic Day at Alva's" where he talks about his whole outlook on music and other stuff - he has many helpful things to say to musicians. Seems like a really cool person.

I am just amazed how stable his Strat is tuningwise, with all that behind-the-nut-bending and vibrato-wiggling…he must have a very good technician ;-)

Great Solo. It flows. But you also have to hear the original by steps ahead. It's one of the most beautiful songs in Jazz history. The sequenzer line in the original recording is a very characteristic part of the song and nobody tries to play this line live.

very nice, he's obviously got a few Alan Holdsworth albums in his music collection
