Is there any re-commissioning needed when changing broken actuators, or is simply swapping over the heads?

Is the underfloor heating comes with it’s own pump besides the one in the boiler ? Thanks

Can you run UFH off a combi without a manifold. I mean the combi is to power dhw and 1 small circuit of ufh. Without buying a manifold can you just run heating circuit under a flooring but just reduce the temp 9n boiler down to around 30degrees?
@plumbertales87723 жыл бұрын
Probably not recommended Tommy as you know a mixing valve is used to distribute and manage the heat along with its own pump I see the logic of what you are saying but your Combi would be constantly on at a low rate as I see it and not to building regs🤷🏻♂️

Hi Allen I know this underfloor heating video is aimed at plumbers, and I'm a layman, but 2 weeks ago we set the heatmiser thermostat in the lounge to 22c to come on at 16:30 and go off at 23:00. It took an hour or more to get to 20c, and another hour for 21c, and later still for it to hit the requested 22c. Now, the point is, in the last couple of days, with the outside temperature dropping, it's coming on at 18c and not going above 20c all evening. Does the manifold need a professional to tweak with those pipes? What's wrong? What's my next step, other than upping the thermostat to 23c in order to get a bit more heat at around 21c?

Not sure why he filled it with water first??? Did he air test it first, just makes sense to air test first at 6 bar (as per the manufacturers instructions), any leaks, take a few minutes to find it. It would save having to drain down and have water everywhere, oh, and have builders laughing their socks off. This video just showed a static view of the top of the system with no real insight. On the whole Allen, this is maybe the poorest video I have seen from your usually very good plumbing experts. Please let this guy have another opportunity at showing us a good video on 'real-life underfloor heating installation', as this one could have been done by my elderly neighbour for all the expertise that was shown here.
