No mention of intranasal corticosteroids or antihistamines??? This is the FIRST LINE in treatment/prevention of allergic rhinitis.

Can someone tell me what I have. I wake up with an itchy throat, water and dry eyes as well as dry buggers in my nose. I get allergies everyday at some point, I get a runny nose and a stuffy nose (congestion) which makes it very hard to breathe through my nose and on bad days I can’t breathe through my nose at all and I’m sneezing like every two minutes, one time I was holding my sneeze too much ( I sneezed many times that day) that it caused a hernia, the hernia wasn’t dangerous and I don’t need to get surgery but still!! I also have to carry At least two tissues with me everyday whenever I go out and it’s so annoying when I have to pull out my tissue from my pocket at school. And I’m not sure but I think that my allergies have also caused my nose shape to change because I’ve been dealing with this for 14 years and none of my family members have a nose like mine, I’m the only one!!! Not my sister, not my parents my cousins grandparent, uncles, NO ONE and I also didn’t have my current nose shape when I was younger, I noticed the change in 6th grade (I am now in high school). Keep in mind that this can happen everyday even it’s it’s not too severe and it’s all year round!!! even when I avoid going out I still get it inside because of dust and yes I’ve tried many different kinds of medications, I’ve made my own too but nothing works and nothing has worked for 14 years!!!! Someone pls help and tell me what I can do, I’ve been dealing with this my whole life. Sry this is so long but I’m desperate PLS HELP.

yes it can cause a lot of side effects like sedation, the side effects usuallly depend on the prescribed antihistamine

Hi, this will not be so good answer like you ask for but you can help it (i have rhinitis for 5 years). Politely ask people you know to switch to hygiene products that do not smell as much (perfume,cologne,shampoo,soap,deodorant) and tell them why. Ventilate rooms and/or clean rooms (like bedroom) that may have dust or pollen, at least use wet cloth on surfaces like shelves or window. AC can be a cause of rhinitis which affected me severely before but when I did not have AC it improved much. If you use AC switch to a fan or something else. Do not use air refreshener in car or building and dont have indoor plants; animals can also affect rhinitis too, mostly furry animals but still sometimes animals with less or no fur. You probably have tried it before but if you haven’t, try nose spray. I experience some sprays work like nothing while other help a little bit. Try not to have plants close outside windows as they can also cause rhintis symptoms. You can also breath through your mouth when there are things you can not control as much to prevent rhinitis symptoms for example when outside. I have not yet researched permanent solution but I understand your pain, I have rhinitis and asthma so my breathing can be irritated by many many things aswell as yours.

@@gowda7155 like fexet , rhino sone-p nasal spray. They're good. BTW are you okay now? I'm having the same problem for almost 5 to 6 years.
