Congrats on the purchase. I've been using a 25 inch Tru Cut for the past 11 years and I'm thinking about driving to South Carolina to get one of these bad boy Allett mowers. How are you enjoying the mower so far?

I’m truly enjoying it. Love the cartridge design how it makes adjustments so easy. For example, doing a simple reel adjustment to pass the paper cut test is a simple twist of a screwdriver. Plan to do a feature review video soon. Thanks for watching! ☀️

Quick question why did you go with the Allett over a Swardman. I’m up in Huntsville and looking at picking up a good reel mower in the next month or so. Both have available accessories, I’m not a fan on B&S engine anymore, too many stories of engine failures. Thanks

That’s one of the main reasons I went with the Allett - Honda! I also liked the handle bars and overall simplicity of the Allett better. I also narrowed it down to these two machines. The Swardman claims an all metal construction but I wasn’t convinced that was better. DM me on IG if you have any detailed questions. I’d be glad to help.

Yes, sure can, it has separate reel and drive engagements. It is belt driven, too.
