In our clinic we use 10% ketamine cream, together with palmitoylethanolamide; I responded also with a video of one of pour patients suffering from CRPS for 13 years, were the swollen red-bluish shining painful feet turned nearly normal in 2 months based on this regime. Delighted to share the video!

I have CRPS/RSD in both feet and ankles, both hands, both wrists, right arm, right side of lower spine, and lower part of my face. It came on in 2019 - I had been doing trauma recovery work after a diagnosis of chronic PTSD in 2017 (DV Survivor) and I got a virus that caused pneumonia. I have autoimmune diseases and my mother has MS, which might be why I ended up with a multi system inflammatory response that damaged nerves. While trying to see doctor after doctor for these issues which included many neurological symptoms, I stubbed my toe one day and thought I broke it. It wasn’t broken but I woke up a few days later and I couldn’t walk. All the symptoms were present in my foot. Doctors didn’t know what it was so kept passing me around. It started spreading. 6 months later I couldn’t walk without a walker, I couldn’t work, I lost everything including housing. I was homeless with no one to help at 34. I worked in public health and I knew how to navigate the medical system but these doctors were biased, irresponsible and negligible and I started having panic attacks just sitting in a waiting room. I fought so hard to continue living, it took nearly a year to get the diagnosis and insurance coverage for three months of functional rehab. Spaulding in Medford saved my life. After 6 months of walking on a treadmill for even just 5 mins 1x day, incorporating meditation, biofeedback, medical marijuana, and finding the right medications (never an opioid), I can walk again but I still struggle to fully function. I want to be able to get back to work. I have my first ketamine infusion tomorrow. I am beyond excited and hope this helps me.

I have CRPS that’s in remission. It was caused by a compound fracture in my wrist. The surgeon who fixed it ended up diagnosing it. I went to my regular doctor for treatment and what he said was “what do you want me to do?“. SMH!!! After three months it went into remission by itself. I didn’t expect that, it really surprise me. Good thing it did, because I couldn’t get any help for it. A physical therapist with a PhD in physical therapy told me if it went into remission then it wasn’t CRPS.! I wanted to slap him. He wasn’t experienced in it so he shouldn’t have said that. I find it remarkable how many medical professionals suck at their jobs.

My wife was diagnosed 16 months ago. She's seen 8 specialists with no luck. Hers started with spinal stenosis. We are currently looking for ketamine infusions. My biggest question is the difference between the coma process of infusion, vs. the shorter outpatient treatments. Hers is very severe. I'm concerned she should have a longer infusion than just a 4 hour infusion for a few days.

Hello. I have the same symptoms as you. Please ask your doctor about the Medtronic PTM pain infusion pump. They can give you all sorts of pain medication in that machine and it helps a lot!!!!

Another thing I highly suggest: ask your doctor for zofran dissolving tablets. This is probably the strongest nausea medication. It helps me so much. Make sure it's the type to dissolve- That works best for nausea.

I have spinal damage including spinal cord compression to C4 to C7. I had L4 to S2 laminectomy with fusion, L4 stage 2 spondylolisthesis which was reduced to half a grade. I had Golden Staph (MRSA) complications. I have arachnoiditis I have tried everything. I am about to be admitted for a 5 day infusion, main problems are in spinal cord, body temp issues, burning pain ( feels like acid to most of my body), and neurological problems. Has anyone had success in doing resets- the pain is intractable non stop pain.

Does insurance cover this since they don't prescribe pain meds anymore? I can't take this anymore! Ruptured right FHL tendon, left foot has so many injuries to even list. Right shoulder SLAP tear II, left shoulder to be diagnosed. CRPS II I had SLAP surgery that failed and have been stuck in bed since that fateful day everything ended for me 11/11/2021 at work I fell on my back. No one has helped me no one! Her story is like mine everything hurts. Workers comp destroyed me and I never got an MRI till recent months so I have been stuck this way for years. I can't use crutches or anything, not even a wheelchair due to a pectoral muscle tear and God knows what else was destroyed that day. I just can't believe no one helps us! 💔 I need help. I'm 39 and am now homebound and it is not fair! The best years of my life because no one will operate letting me degenerate. It's killing me the isolation.

I have RSD and it sucks. Getting nerve blocks every 2 weeks and those cause back pain in the nerve I get them in on either my right side or left side of my back. Those blocks I get in my sympathetic nerve that goes from my back to my feet and ankles.

It is both. I have it and I gasped when my mom said she might have fibromyalgia which is disputed to be a mild manifest of it.

I live a completely across the country but I am desperate absolutely desperate for help. I'm legally blind and user a guide dog. I am already with pallet of care and have use pain patches and pain pills along with cervical injections and spinal injections. Do you do this to generation crush cervical nerves as well as fibromyalgia and severe neuropathy most of my pain is neuropathic. My pain has recently become so bad I'm basically bedridden I was only able to get up and walk around . I'm already on disability it don't work I can't afford thousands and thousands of dollars for ketamine treatment that's offered here. Nor do I find the current facility in my state very reputable there is sole for money organization. If anyone else reading this can help me and knows of a facility that does this and takes insurance please let me know open toe by one doctor that there's someone up in New Jersey that does inpatient treatment of ketamine but nobody knew his name if someone could help me please let me know

I dont have CRPS but arachnoiditis with fibro and further spine damage which syptoms can be similar to your condition. I would join a facebook support page for CRPS they are often very helpful and a good one will have a list of healthcare professionals, pain clinics etc. I know finding a doctor willing to do ketamine infusion is hard. I would research online CRPS specialist or a nuerologist that point you in the right direction. I am being admitted for 5 day ketamine infusion on 30 Nov, if you want I can message on any pro's and con's. I wish the very best luck in relief.

@camnpog You are misinformed. Google the following (among others) Pharmacodynamic profiles of ketamine (R)- and (S)- with 5-day inpatient infusion for the treatment of complex regional pain syndrome. Outpatient intravenous ketamine for the treatment of complex regional pain syndrome: a double-blind placebo controlled study. A pilot open-label study of the efficacy of subanesthetic isomeric S(+)-ketamine in refractory CRPS patients.
