Great job interesting episode. On the question on do i think Hughs should ve been more aggressive in signing free agent as july 1st hit? No i m quite pleased they stayed on coarse and didnt buckle under preasure. I think the prior regime would ve caved and made huge mistakes which we would ve had our rebuild set back hugely. So i commend Gorton/ Hughs for standing firm. We have enough bad contracts were still suffering from thanks to prior regime. Anderson , Galagher, even as much as i loved Price , that contract was outrageous. This exec crew is on rught track. However i do think they might have made over exagerated habs progression for the up and coming season of habs battling for playoff spot. This teams not there yet. So i think they should ve been a little more careful with their words. Alot of habs fans will hold them to their comments. We have a very unforgiving fan baze lol however with those projected comments from them i expect their working on bigger trade probably envolving alot of moving peices which i m thinking could be a very simular type trade as the Petry tradw last year. And it ll probably be around the same timing as last year just before season begins . I think i that trade we may see a couple of our loaded young defense core moved in it . I expect either one big trade like that or two smaller trades for it to be divied up in to get at least one top six winger. Keep up the great show guys , i enjoy what you are doing its a much more matured indepth thought podcast ,reality wise looking into habs . I commend you .

What's your opinion on Bobrov and the other scout guy( sorry name eludes me). They were both impressive to me during the Vegas interviews.

Hughes was/is looking to sign short term so it's more unlikely.

The THN website is a smashing success if the idea was to create a video game where visitors get to chase text all over the screen as it randomly scrolls hither and fro as it plays tag with an assortment of snazzy ads. Yeah, stopped visiting, I prefer actually reading something.

Free agents don't make sense now. Mb next year...definitely in 2 years

Burrows should have been gone when bergevin left. The same goes with simmons. Typical politics line, good call. Hopefully, he doesn't mess up wherever he ends up. My money says he's gone within 18 months.
