I have to say, I had no idea who Trung Phan was before this video but I was pleasantly surprised by this interview and his absolute wealth of knowledge in reference to AI and the finance realm. I would really love to see more interviews like this in the future in addition to the hockey related interviews. G such a grear idea to go to all different states and see all the college rinks and games. Last year my dtr and i went to Detroit to see my Blueshirts then took an uber to Ann Arbor to see my Wolverines. It was incredible This season we plan to go to North Dakota to the “ Ralph”. As a goalie, I did not us the neck guard flap on my mask, I used the Brown neck guard (one of my 4 goalie's as idols was VANBIESBROUCK and he wore it but it itches so I always thought it looked cool to wear a turtleneck. So I wrapped around my turtleneck....loved the look and fel. RIP Adam

I may have misheard, but think you guys asked your fans for input on neck guards…I think some basic mandatory medical training for referees and/or coaches, players, parents, etc would be way more useful. Malarchuk and Zednik are examples of successful management of major vascular trauma during hockey games. Pretty sure the trainer who got to Malarchuk first on the ice was medic in Vietnam, and Zednik got himself to his bench quickly and trainer had towel pressed up against his wound…but regardless of trainer/first-responder qualifications at NHL level or lack thereof at lower levels of hockey, the main concept is this..remain calm, someone activate Emergency Medical System, and someone put manual pressure on the bleeding vessel/wound. You don’t have a lot of time when these injuries occur, but you do have some (probably a minute or so, maybe even a little longer), and if someone can get and maintain pressure on a bleeder promptly, it will give the injured player and the doctors a really good chance. I understand desire to come up with a piece of equipment to totally protect against these types of injuries, but I think having a little extra mandatory training would be a lot more beneficial.
