I'm so upset I went into Superstore (it's a grocery store in Canada). They used to have the most affordable makeup. I think with all the hype going around these products they jacked up the prices like crazy. My favourite Pro Glow foundation was around 15$ that I could remember and now they are $20!! :((

look for dupes! alter ego, beauty glazed, etc. its eyeshadows and they work the same. unless you are die hard in supporting huda, personally i dont find a need to spend so much for palettes. just saying cause as a student its better to get affordable makeup but if it makes you happy to splurge on an item once in a while, go for it too! ♡

About three years ago, I decided to become more of a minimalist. I decided to choose one or two affordable makeup/skincare products to keep and donate everything else. The only time I buy is when I run out of something. I think it is overwhelming how many makeup brands and new products are launching these days. I can understand a beauty influencer needing products to review, but how much makeup can one person actually use before it expires? Thank you for this video, Allie. It is amazing that a lot of what you used are my holy grail products!! :)

Warning for anyone considering the elf concealor: it's very dry. Like you have to blend it out RIGHT AWAY or it'll end up looking uneven. I still like it, but it does make my undereyes look really dry and doesn't usually wear off at the same rate as my foundation(I also use the believe beauty foundation) which can look bad near the end of the night.

Cicadian Cycle I bought it off the entire internet’s recommendation and I couldn’t afford shape tape and it was wayyy to dry for my skin . My favorite drugstore concealer is still maybelline instant age rewind no contest (maybe makeup revolution comes close)

Thanks for the tip with the Rimmel Matte Powder! I always put it on before setting spray and depending upon the foundation/primer/setting spray I use, sometimes I still get shine popping through late in the day. I am going to try your trick of putting it on after the setting spray.
